I don't wear my ring daily like I used to. Took me getting used to. As those of you who have met me may know, I'm not much for jewelry in general. Then again she hasn't worn hers in forever.

Mainly when I lost weight it doesn't fit as well. I keep meaning to get a chain and put it on there

I'm waiting to find out what the dealership says, very curious! It's still under warranty, they gave him an 18 Silverado and sent him on his way.

I still don't know why most of you don't talk about Tundra's. Why wouldn't you consider one of those? Just because it's an older design? If that's the reason then that's crap if you ask me. I think they are great trucks and I'd get one if I needed a half ton. The 4.6L gets ok mileage and everybody that has the 5.7L says it's not as bad as people think.

My buddy has an 07 Limited, with the 5.7L engine. I loved driving that thing when we used to mow lawns and used his truck to pull the trailer.

My friend had a 2010 Rock Warrior and now has a 2017 TRD Pro both crewmaxs with the 5.7L and it has all the power you would need and it gets the same mileage my Tacoma does when we tow with them but it gets you a hell of a lot more interior space along with the extra power. To be honest, I still like the size of a Tacoma better though

Same reason I ruled out the Ford and Ram. They are just foolish money to buy brand new. The full size trucks in general are just stoooooopid money. And the Tundra kinda tops the list of all of them as far as overpriced if you want bells and whistles. And then there is this, not even my Tacoma could do this:

I love them, but for what I'd pay for a 5.7 DC SR5 Off Road Tundra, I realized I could get an F-150 with better gas mileage, more torque, more payload and towing, heated seats, a sunroof, Android Auto, a locking rear diff, and a 10-Speed Transmission.

I saw one pop up at a dealer near me that is pretty much my exact unicorn truck, but it has some things I don't care about so the price is higher because of that. Tempted to go look at it because it's so close.

The tattoo sort of makes more sense. You can't ever take it off, haha.
Look at the bright side, at least he lubed up first.
That's why I went with a tungsten ring. My white gold one was getting beat to hell. The tungsten is so hard of a metal that it's survived quite a few years and just doesn't scratch.
Thanks for the tip. Mine should be here next week. Just curious, did you get the standard or the q2x chemical resistant version?
    Ouch, sucks for him!
Construction seems to be getting a lot better. It's change a ton since I started. You really notice there being a lot more women in the industry in general, and not just receptionists and office managers. Lots of women PM's, Execs and even working in the trades.
For me, it comes down to one thing, payload. The Tundra just doesn't have it and there's no heavy payload option like you can get with Ford or Chevy's half tons. If you really pay attention to the payload stickers these manufacturers put on trucks these days, you'll quickly realize how many people on the road are legally overloaded when towing. The trucks won't act like it, they'll handle the weight just fine, but if it ever comes down to legality, you're screwed. So, for me, that's what definitively rules out the Tundra (as well as several other options).

Oh the tundra crewmax is always on my list, i do want to see the next iteration of it though, and then either wait for that or get the current with all the incentives theyd likely have to get rid of the old stock

To me what you lose in gas mileage you'll more than make up in resale value! My buddys 2010 Tundra with 100K he sold for over $20K. I similar Chevy or Ford sells for about half of that. That's a lot of fucking gas and something you would NEVER recover in 100K
