Brandons rig is a 2nd gen dark blue double cab short bed. Pretty sweet truck. Full mid travel with bypasses and such.

I think that color looks good with the bronze personally. I always liked bronze with the green 1st gens like yours too.

I think I'm going to have to lift the front a tick now too as the tires are just barely rubbing when turned under compression. I was trying to avoid that as it's our dedicated highway rig.

Well you have a valid point. The Mrs. is hearing deficient and even with state of the art hearing aids, she probably can't hear it. But I can and it'll bug me when I drive it.

Idk. Unless you spend some good money on adjustable coil overs with a nice shock, you won't have the plush luxury ride with a cheaper lift.

there are plenty. But there are also ton of farm people and ranchers. All of whom mainly drive fullsize trucks as they use them daily to haul equipment, hay, or animals. Their kids grow up and want a fullsize..and so forth. In Laramie, WyoTech is there so there are a ton of diesel heads there that soup up their dodges and chevy's.

Plenty of tacoma's though. That said, you aren't going to find the hordes of tacoma nerds like you do in Cali. Barely a half million people in the whole state of Wyoming..so yeah.

I disagree. I've used (keyword) little spacers in the past and there's virtually no change in ride quality, unless you go with the taller ones, which don't do much except give you clearance. 1/2 to 3/4" would be suffice. I used to have a 2" spacer on the FJ before I went to the BP51s that I have currently. They stiffened up the ride but did nothing for off road ability. At the time I didn't off road it that much but then things changed and now it's our dedicated trail rig/overlander/off roading truck. This 4Runner is just a daily driver and will rarely see dirt, we can use my truck or the FJ for the good times!

Until June actually. They announced in November that they were shutting down WyoTech again. Corporate crap. There are few instructors who are involved in attempts to buy the school and getting it going again, but you know how rumors can be. Last I heard, it would take a couple years to get it up and going and get them accredited and such. Who knows. :notsure:
