Haha those are my pics of the tires of the falkens, duratracs, and st maxx. I was just about to post that lol.

Making them st maxx looks tiny compared to the toyos. Good post!!

Arb front bumper, warn winch, All Pro rear bumper, OME up front, OME and All Pro Standard in Back, ARB locker, 34 x 10.5 KO2's, 17" Level 8 Trackers, and fancy single piece driveshaft.
I've had 34x10.5 KO2's on my truck for about 12k now. I really like them. Snow traction is really good for an AT, and they feel a little more stable at speed on loose snow than my old 285/70/17's did. As in changing lanes on a highway in slushy snowy conditions. Less floaty.

As compared to 285/70/17 D rated Duratracs, I think the Ko2's are slightly quieter when they are both new. Snow traction is about the same. The KO2's feel like they have a softer tread over small road imperfections, but they also feel like they have a stiffer sidewall, even though they are both D rated. The tread on the Duratracs looks more aggressive, but I've driven the 100+ miles on the same trail with both tires now, and I couldn't tell a difference in off road traction.

I think the tires are actually only 33.4 in diameter. I measured the circumference one day and did the math to arrive at that. Wish they were actually 34" and I wish they made them in a load C.

Any noticeable difference in rolling resistance that you feel? How about weight in terms of how they feel under the truck while you are driving?

Perfect timing on this thread, great pics and info boys!!
Ivew been out of the modding game for a few years, be patient w. me.
Needing some input here for my lil garage queen. My '09 DCSB sport is ready for new rubber and looking to finally get rid of the factory rubber, yes I know - it really doesn't leave the garage at a mere 42k on the clock, and the oem tires have been really good on the highway and on snow, Mostly Ive just been scared of all the issues going bigger, road ride, mpg, clearance issues. etc.
So, here's the scoop, Billsteins 5100 FR & R, set to 2.5" front, if I remember right, I did the TSB AAL, plus another AAL to get 3" rear. I know the UCA are maxed out, and I get a little bit of the vibes in 2wd at 40mph (is this really a TSB now that 'they' can fix?) So for tires, looking to taller (still clear the garage door) keep the mudflaps and not cut the body mount, on my gunmetal hand painted sport rims, no spacers. Like 265/75-17 or 275/70-17?? this is where I need some input from the guys who have been there and point me in the right direction.
    Thanks in advance!!

Not sure about the sizes you have listed, but I have 265/70r17 on my truck and they fit with no issues.
I have the same suspension setup except my 5100's are set at 1.75.

My prior tire setup was 255/85r16. If you look and compare the specs on my screen shots you will note they are very close. I ran 0 offset with 4.5 backspace and 8 wide. Also, I was running ST Maxx, which are on the small side and were right at the 32+ size. If you look back there is a comparison pic with 3 tires, and 1 is the ST Maxx.

It is Very alignment dependent on How much, not if you will rub. With that said, you would still have to remove the front mudflap and trim the bottom of the fender flare in the lower rear well.

Hopefully someone will chime in that has the experience with exactly what you want. It is strictly a guess, but I'm thinking a 30" will be max to keep the front mud flaps. IMG_0257.jpgIMG_0256.jpg

Is that on stock sport rims? no spacers?

This truck doesn't really get wheeled, so the parking lot is really the only place it goes full chock, can the rubbing be subdued with these known scenarios avoided?

    No spacers and stock rims.
They are not the sport rims.
    My truck is a 12 SR5.
This is the rim I have.
Maybe someone can tell us if there is a difference in the back spacing between the two.

I read your post talking about miles on them, but I can't remember. So

How many miles have you got on them and what's tread depth? How are they wearing.

Thought about buying 5 for 900 shipped with warranty. Also these are 8 ply tires idk how much weight difference it makes though

On the maxxis site it also says their 33.3 so may be 2nd biggest in this size behind the toyos

This that 2nd gen mumbo jumbo
