ECGS is awesome. I already told this story a few days ago, but it just got better.

I called them last week to just order the two O-rings for the ARB. They (John) offered to do it for me. I was still going to do it myself, but he said there’s a seal inside the locker that’s prone to leaking as well. So, I said to hell with it, and shipped it out. They provided the shipping label.

When I first had ECGS build the diff, I didn’t get the upgraded solid sleeve. I figured since they had it anyway, I might as well get rid of the crush sleeve.

John called me earlier. Said they changed all three seals in the ARB, and installed the solid sleeve. They also noticed wear in the pinion bearing and changed it, and the pinion seals.

Total cost to me shipped both ways? $45 They only charged me for the sleeve itself.

 

Yeah. Peeps need to just know how to adjust volume and squelch correctly.

 

They are good peeps.... they only charged me i think 50 bucks core charge from this diff I sent them...

So with the Zon rechargeables you can charge it from the cig plug, or can you use it without batteries by having it plugged into the truck?

Nope. When you plug in the cig cable, it supplies power for CB, but does not charge the batteries. Sucks, coz I have to charge the batteries separately.

Correction: Yes. But no internal protective over-charging circuitry to stop charging when charging is complete. Which is why I use a stand-alone automatic charger.

Apparently, Level 8 was bought out and the MK6 is no longer available..

 

Really?? When did that happen? I was considering those for awhile just haven't had the funds, its a nice wheel.

 

There are some on eBay right now, but not black.

 

Does your battery charger have a cig lighter charge cord?

Well that's news. I have the Level 8 MK6 in bronze. I was thinking about getting one more for a spare. I had only bought 4 when I initially purchased them.
