the most important thing about any vaccum, is to keep the dam collector empty and clean the filters once in a while. When I do run that sucker, I usually end up spending an hour with it, cleaning it, and washing filters, and pulling wound up hair and shit out of it,

What is the normal "trade-in" process like? I have found a truck at a dealership and have considered trading.

Haha, that’s what I do. My wife cleans with the vacuum and I clean the actual vacuum. Starting to think I’m getting the short end of the stick what that one.

Don't let them know about a trade in at first.

Negotiate best price no trade offered. They may ask do you have a trade say no. Then after agreeing in a price be like ya know. Yeah I'd like to see what mines worth.

Of course you're going to get less than selling. The advantage of trade in you get to takeoff a nice chunk of taxes.

I've never done a trade. These are just negotiations I've thought about

Thank ya. Kinda had the same thought process. I know trade in is between 25,500-27k. I'm hoping for around 26k.

I got a replacement spring from them when mine broke also. Not only that they loaned me the tool to turn the spring and told me everything I need to know. Great company.

On a separate note, my Mom passed away in Panama City the other day. One of my brothers and I were with her when the time came. Spend all the time you can with them while they are here, life is short. Hope you don't mind but wanted to post some photos of her. Beach photo taken in Panama City in the late 1940's on Thomas Drive. She was a bit or a tomboy but my two brothers and I (no sisters) are close and caring for each other due to her imparting all the good values throughout the years. Know we gave her fits at times but she never gave up on us. Did not mind giving us a good "licking" when we deserved it but she got really pissed when were bigger and took the belt away from her. A classy lady to the last!!!

Get multiple quotes, even if the dealership does not have a vehicle youre interested in. Negotiate the price first then after you get to an agreed price bring up the trade and tell them you have gotten multiple quotes for $xxxx and if you give me $xxxx for it then we will have a deal. Also get financing set up beforehand at a credit union, you generally get better rates.

haha, I know you work for a dealership, but I also have a little understanding of how money works. I assume a dealership at worst (best depending on what side you are on) is goin to assume they may not be able to sell the trade in to a person and it will go wholesale; I think we can all safely assume that a trade-in will not be more than what a dealership will get for wholesale, and more likely will be ~10% less than whole sale to cover labor (cleaning detailing paperwork etc) and cover "lot fee" or what ever you wanna call a vehicle sitting and not selling for a month.

or at least that is my best guess of how most of these transactions go down
