It is a shame to see that field in that kind of condition, all because of the ignorant “leadership” of the City of Birmingham over the years. I went to watch SC get creamed by Connecticut a few years ago and they had sections of the stadium closed off for safety reasons. Terrible....

Statement about tailgating is 100% fact. Love me some tailgating LSU fans.

I have been lucky enough to not sit around the immediate presence of a nasty LSU fan thus far, and we always end up in the LSU section. One Year my friend got everything imaginable thrown at him in the stands after the last second comeback by Alabama.

I was at that game too! It was freezing ass cold and the Connecticut fans thought nothing of it.

I can believe all of this lol. There are great ones, and rough (really rough) ones. Just like every team. Just depends on what you get stuck being around.

I was certain SC would win but man I was wrong. I’ve never been so cold at a game in my life and the Husky fans were running around like it was spring time. That way as awful!

Haha literally my exact feelings. The only heat in the whole stadium was in the disgusting bathrooms. We had so many hot hands tucked everywhere in our clothes to try and help but it was a futile attempt. We literally sat beside fans in tshirts and shorts and we looked like damn eskimos.

Games I dread: @ TA&M, @ LSU, and @ Auburn. I don't care what type of season either of the teams involved are having, those fans and stadiums are insane.

It doesn't help the case for me that Florida has done everything in their power to cause tensions with LSU over the last few years, so that rivalry has become nasty. With Dan Mullen being a thorn in LSU's side lately as well, it will be interesting.

I really wonder how a team prepares to play in a place like that... how can you even hear in the huddle??

Now that BDS has expanded, it has more of a pseudo-NFL stadium feeling to it. We don't have a massive jumbo-tron... but you never worry about seeing replays b/c we have four big ones in the corners. We have a ribbon that goes all the way around, and it can get hella-loud because it's fully enclosed. The stadium itself is really nice inside and out.

BUT... I don't disagree with anybody who says that the experience of a game day isn't something "special" like it is at some other college towns. The eagle flying at Jordan-Hair, the players running down the hill at Memorial Stadium... those are stadium-related traditions that are unlike anything else in football.

I really really like our stadium, and I think it's as nice as any in the country, but there are plenty of reasons it won't make "top stadium destinations" lists.

EDIT: One thing I really like about the stadium is that it doesn't have giant light poles. Instead, the field lights are all around the awnings that cover the upper decks. I think it's a good, clean look.

I feel like we’re being raped.

I don’t put much emphasis on the Heisman but thought I’d share since it is nice to here your teams players talked about. Vegas released thier list for contenders which I feel like is rat poison. Fromm at the top spot with Swift tied for the second spot. https://georgia.247sports.com/Conte...andidates-for-2018-based-on-odds-114040664/20

Idk if I’ll offend any Bama guys on here but the article doesn’t have much credibility imo since the have Hurts at number 9. I just don’t think he’s that good. Yet the guy that came in to save his ass is listed at the bottom at 20. But I guess the limited playing time is what is holding him back. No doubt in my mind he’s much better than Hurts.

a lot of bad ass stuff
I'm excited to see and watch what Swift can do as the #1 back. Reminds me of the way I felt waiting to see what Chubb would do heading into his sophomore year, once Gurley left. Also hoping to see Holyfield get more touches. I think those two would make a good combo.

I don't think you will be disappointed from what I saw of either of them (I didn't see a lot of holyfield, but he did get in late one game and still raked up several yards, and didn't lose the ball most importantly)

    There's a lot I probably left out.

    Not going to offend me.

Bottom line is that they're just laying odds. What Hurts position tells me is that they're leaving open the possibility that he manages to win the starting job, and improves his downfield passing game. If he is able to do that, and he leads Alabama to an undefeated season, he'll be in the conversation. (FTR - I don't think that happens.)

Tua had one great half on a massive stage. He's on the list at all because of that. I happen to think he's the guy going forward, and if he can keep up the same level of play from the NC game, then he'll be a contender, too.

Wasn’t Louisville the top ranked rushing D when Chubb ran all over them?

I never looked at the stats after the game. Would’ve thought he did better than that but to be fair Sony had a fair game against y’all. I’m still mad we didn’t run Sony at the end of the game. Sony was finding/making gaps.
