Gotcha. You know for dents that aren't super deep they don't budge. I think I'll have to shell for it, if I want it like I do. The guy I saw mentioned Bondo... Don't know about all that.

I had someone who I'm not friends with anymore sit on my roof this summer and that left dents about the same size. I just slowly pushed them back out from the inside and its good as new

I did not, just slowly pushed on it and watched it from the outside to make sure nothing warped

So when I do that the dent itself doesn't flex, just everything around it. Not about to screw the headliner up either by mashing on it.

Yeah that sounds a little worse than how mine was. I'd make a claim and see what insurance can do

The cameras are there for the lot owners protection, not yours. I'm beginning to realize that I'm an accident magnet, but somebody hit my old Dodge in a mall parking lot and took off. The security dude said they definitely would have it on camera, but the cops would have to request it. Guess what city cops don't have time for... The upside is that the truck was a POS and there were thousands of dollars in Honda plastic on the ground. Some kid probably had so explaining to do when he got home.

As for PDR, I was told that with all of the structural angles in the roof skin that it would never look 100%, and so the insurance company wouldn't cover it. Bondo on a roof skin is a temporary fix that will crack eventually. I have to agree with the poster above: file a claim and get a new roof skin. It's the correct way to fix this and the only one that is permanent and will make you happy. It will be painful for a couple of weeks with all the rental cars and bullshit, but I recommend that you just get it over with.

Yo that sucks man, I can’t believe people who feel damaging someone else’s vehicles is ok. I park my truck far away from other cars at 1 of my jobs i work at a retail store and everyone at work bust my balls for parking at the other end of the lot but ive have to chase carts that people don’t put in corals! The wind blows the carts hitting people’s cars! No cares i guess but good luck

can be pushed out but the metal has been stretched and will show at the edges. best to take it to a professional that takes out dents without having to paint. nevertheless will be a big job for them.
depending on what part of Texas you are in..

"Heavy cat" -- ????? -- that would have to be a "cat" like a lion, tiger, or cougar!!! Either that or these roofs are made of toilet paper??!!

Try it...press down on the roof of your truck. Only takes a couple pounds of pressure.

    1. Get a good pdr guy.
    2. Get a roof rack like a prinsu so you never have to really look at the roof again.
    3. Get front and rear dash cam.
    4. Setup cam at home if vehicle is visible from home.
    5. Get a ghillie suit, rifle and some barely contained rage. Then wait.

Step 5 is optional, but since you live in Texas and someone fucked with your truck I gotta assume no jury would convict you, if you even were arrested. Everything I know about Texas I learned from tv. In my mind it's kinda like Young Guns 2 where it's a no man's land of lawless vagabonds roaming freely.
My mental image may not be accurate.
