Well you already have Frankenstein's monster and Igor, so all you're missing from the main characters is Dr. Victor Frankenstein.

Experienced the joys of buying parts online today. Purchased a radiator, Denso box arrives and it’s obviously been re-taped. Open it up to find trans fluid leaking out of the trans cooler outlet and dried on the box. Coolant outlet also showed signs of use. Now I get to wait a little longer to replace it.

I don't get the compulsion, these days, to buy most everything on-line, especially large and fragile items.
Returns/exchanges become a nightmare. I recently bought a new radiator for my Highlander from Napa.
They had a Denso in stock. No shipping, no chance of damaging in transit, easy exchange if there is any issues.

For me, online is the last resort for shopping, if I can't find what I want locally. The slightly less cost of online
is just not worth the potential hassle of things like this. Of course, living near a large city helps. :D

    Just my 2-cents worth.

Hope this works out for you in the long run.

About to start dropping my diffs. Any tips I need to know? Especially for the clamshell, I’ve heard it’s a bitch to squeeze out.

    Thanks

Just let it roll forward and lift at the back to get the rear mount out. Will take a bit of wrestling but isn't awful. Hope you can get your diff drain plug out!

Hope it’s that easy for me. Read of people having to loosen motor mounts, jack up the trans, etc. Hopefully they just weren’t holding their tongue right.

All my plugs are easy to remove, thankfully. ;)

I'll be stalking both of you. I really want to put a prinsu on the cab. I'm thinking I might put yakima tracks or similar on the cab first instead of having open holes in case I want to remove it at any point.
