I think your speculating that we were speculating.

We offered facts, just the facts. Well maybe we stretched it a bit.

we have had cat(s) for the last 35 years -- and not a single one of them could do damage like that -- even if the cat took a flying leap on to the top.
The "kid" idea is probably the most plausible --kids don't think out their actions -- especially the ones raised by(shit-for-brains) parents--when they are around. Look where he parked --next to those side/support posts -- I could see a dumb kiddo seeing his a truck as a way into the top of that parking structure.

Did you run over a curb or speed bump in a parking garage... and roof hit the exit sign/sprinkler?

    Yeah.
It's not damage due to a collision, and not flood damage. Doubtful anything would show up on Carfax since it won't be a reported accident. They can't raise your rates for a comprehensive claim. Value would be diminished more by not having it fixed properly. I would start with PDR if you can, but those are pretty big dents. I would NOT want Bondo on there, especially in TX. It will crack within 3 years unless you are always in covered parking. I had hail damage on my truck when I lived in TX and just left it -- paint wasn't chipped at all, so it was better off without a thick layer of paint and spots of bondo everywhere just inviting cracking and eventual rusting.

Any way a car wash could cause this to happen?

Naw. Apparently people like to trophy hunt animals that are near extinction. Beka Garris posted it on her FB page and more than a few people are upset about it.

Ok, well maybe not near extinction....but it's pretty rare to see one. That's a trophy hunt. Just to kill something because you can...is bullshit.
    Agree...leave em alone.

    Now back to the OP.
OP....just try and push it out or suction cup it. It can't hurt and as someone said earlier.....you might fix alot of it and will probably cost less for the repair. You got nothing to lose, try it.
