How cold of temps you sleep in? I get hot in 30degree bags in 20 degree weather.

I have this same 0° bag and used it when we were at Black Mtn. KY...was hot AF in it. Spent as much time half out of the bag as in it and ended up sleeping with the RTT windows partially open for airflow.

Anyone in here have any luck DIYing an anti condensation mat? I don't really want to spend $100+ on one from the manufacturer if I can just make one myself

usually 30s or a touch below. So far i've found the RTT retains the heat inside pretty well as is so im not opposed to kicking off the bag if needed. Rather be able to open a window than be miserable.

Yeah fuck that. I think it litterally would have to be in the negatives for me to be comfortable in that bag.
I was in a 30degree bag during that trip

I was in a hammock. Y'all are bitches.

I was also completely blitzed and couldn't feel hot or cold, so there's that.

I’m like you and stay hot. I went overkill on this bag because the wife dies in anything under 80° ambient.

So i recently received a RTT from TuffStuff 4x4. I am now in a claims process with them as my tent arrived with a huge hole in it from we are assuming a fork lift. Here is the info I had to submit to Paypal that explains the timeline and what happened.

I ordered a $1800 roof top tent from TuffStuff 4x4 which was delivered on the 12th. On delivery the box was in rough shape but the delivery guy says he thinks everything is fine. I could not see any immediate damage and the delivery guy said to just call the delivery company or tuffstuff4x4 if there are any issues. Because of constant rain and snow in the Cincinnati area, I was not able to open the tent to inspect it till the 20th. This is because I do not have enough room in my garage to open the huge 6x4 200lb tent. It is a really large tent and box so I had to open it outside and needed help to get it out of the box. This is why I had to wait a week to get it out of the box.
Upon seeing the damage to the tent last weekend, I contacted TuffStuff 4x4 about my issues. They called me yesterday on the 22nd and originally offered me 20% off to keep it or I could have a replacement tent sent. Because this is a brand new tent that costs $1800, I told them I wanted a replacement. At first they said they could make this happen.
I received an email from them at 6pm on yesterday the 22nd stating that the delivery company will not pay for the replacement and their hands are tied. They then offer me 30% back to keep the tent and fix it myself. Although this sounds tempting, I would now have a brand new $1800 tent that has been patched greatly deminishing its worth.
If they are not willing to fix my $1800 tent purchase that was delivered defective, then I want a full refund.

We will see what they offer to do from here. They now have the tent posted for $1499 on their website. I told them through the paypal claims center that I will accept a replacement tent, a full refund, or im willing to accept $300 reimbursement for the price difference of what I payed and the current price along with 30% off the new price of $1499. That would be a $750 refund. I think thats fair considering I now have a new tent that no one else will ever want considering it has a hole that goes all the way through it and will have to be patched somehow.

Im interested to hear peoples thoughts on this.

sadly, they're right with the delivery part. it probably left their shop flawless and shipping dicked it up. Thats why you ALWAYS inspect before signing. Now that you accepted delivery, you accepted its condition upon delivery.

Hopefully they work with you but expect the book to be thrown at you.
