Hopefully it doesn't come to that and these jackasses get something worked out soon. My wife was sent home early on Saturday and told to stay there through Sunday. She's supposed to have additional training this week but if there's no money for it, it's likely that'll get cancelled too.

 

Yup, ive read them too but my GF and I enjoyed the one night we stayed there during the busy Easter time last yr. I wouldnt recommend going on Easter weekend... it was mega packed.

Though deal I really hope they do get it figured it out I can live without me getting paid for the active service members is just absolutely infuriating to me.

That's a misconception. Active Duty will get paid. Just a matter of when. Other federal employees? They have to approve reimbursement for that.

Yeah we are hoping to get paid. Right now everyone is getting their monthly expenses all wrapped up so if need be we will be filling out a bunch of AER loans to cover people for a month. We have yet to hear from chain of command if we will be getting paid on the 1st

 

For pulling it in I have an old race with a large washer from a Caterpillar engine mount welded to it with a 1” diameter bolt welded to that washer. The threaded end of the bolt I have a 4”x4” square of 1” plate through drilled for the bolt and a nut that I can run down with an impact to. Pulls it in like a champ.

I originally thought you were referring to the outer pinion bearing. That is where the slide hammer comes in handy.
