@thefatkid speaking of 3rd gen 4Runners...I’m having a hell of a time here lately with disengaging 4Hi. Push the button and the lights just flash at me. I’ve tried all sorts of ways disengaging it...reversing, driving forward, putting it in neutral, etc. It just started happening, and eventually it disengages. Any idea?

 

Go back in your cave with them pumas! I never claimed to be a native. Can't a man complain about horrible drivers from certain states? Shoot when I see a vehicle with a Florida license plate with snow on the ground I stay away. I am sure when I had my Florida tags on the taco others stayed away from me as well.

The auto’s are solid. Never had an issue with my 2wd one. This 4x4 one does great too. Shifts pretty good. The A340E and A340F that I’m taking about. When your in town again hit me up and I’ll let you drive my taco around to see how it shifts.

The A340 is the same design as the Jeep AW4 which is hailed for being durable and reliable

 

I have them now on the taco now and am not overly impressed. Plus they're the most expensive of the bunch.

 

I've never had any issues with any of mine.
