    Too many to list
Finally got around to installing the Icon stage 1 coilovers with the 700lb springs and Icon uniball UCA's. Got the lift I much needed and the support from all the armor on board. The 5100's and OME springs were great but had to upgrade a tad.

Got the PPF installed today. Went with Suntek instead of Xpel cause of price (saved about 150) and the Suntek has the precut pattern I wanted.

You can barely see unless you look for it and be in a certain angle like on my second pic. Had the whole front end done including the front part of the hood.

Trying to figure out why all of a sudden my front drivers side speaker was cutting in and out (mostly out, and crackly when in)... after some initial troubleshooting at the amp, I decided it was time to pull the door panel and take a peek, thinking a loose wire or something.

What I found was this

Speaker terminals were slightly corroded, and the strip of fiberboard they used between the + and - was wet (kicker CS)

Note that my front fender is still damaged from an offroad trip a few weeks back, goes into the body shop (finally...) on Wednesday. So this may have been related to that damage. I just wanted to point that out as to not assume this was a Taco problem.

So I did some truck stuff today.

I had to test out the extra cleats I put on the sides of my Diamondback cover.

Oh, also came home to an awesome package... @mesojdm 's Ultimate Turn LED Turn Signals. Solid work man.

Don't mind the bug splatter. It's getting washed tomorrow or the next day.

Also put some extra d-ring tie down anchors under the rails in the front of the bed. Same ones I used earlier.

Water in the door is common for all vehicles which is why is recommended that you do not use MDF (wood) for the speaker ring adapters...unless you paint it with a good waterproof paint/sealant of some sort. Otherwise, the rings end up swelling to double the original size (ask me how I know. :p ). It's also why you can't use just any speaker in a car door. Car speakers are (supposed) to be made so they can handle condensation like this...a common home audio speaker is not.

Since you're having some buildup near the terminals, you could use some of the leftover sound deadening (if you have any) to create a 2 inch overhang between the inner and outer door skins...just enough so so that the water does not drip directly down onto the speaker anymore.

Yeah, probably just condensation; seemed a little excessive, but we have had some big temperature swings here lately though (and rain). I do have some sound deadening left, so will give that a shot. Was very surprised about the terminal strip... it was definitely soggy and slightly deformed. These were the kicker CS 43CSC6934 from Crutchfield. Not a super high end speaker, but expected better. It's like they used regular fiber board instead of a epoxy impregnated board or plastic.

no, I tapped into some 12v power I already ran back. To answer your question, no there’s no enough wire to run it. But if you get a $5 spool of 14-16ga at Walmart that should be plenty. Remember you only need to run the positive, the ground cable can be grounded near the bed. As far as the switch goes, I hid it in the storage box until I find an appropriate magnetic switch.

These showed up today from Mobtown. Can't wait to get them painted and installed. Also installed different side plates on my B&M shift handle. I think they compliment the Inferno dash pretty good. 20180122_121639.jpg 20180112_151745.jpg 20180112_151659.jpg
