Can't seem to talk myself into getting rid of Tron. It's acting like a portfolio boat anchor.

 

My #1 and #2 best performers! Also I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, fu$& TRON! It’s just a copy and paste coin with nothing interesting or unique about it. It’s like doge but at least they admit it’s just a joke.

Was able to get a hold of two pny gtx 1060 6gb cards at work. Should get them each at $200. Got to get my mine on!!

 

Got my rig all buttoned up for the most part!

Thermaltake 5 fan controller with auto mode and temp sensor. Also has an alarm for fan failures/overheating.

This lower chamber is where the cards will sit. The fans are set to draw air out, and the wall to the right in the photo has a 120 and a 200mm fan blowing directly at where the cards will be living.

What cards and where did you get them?

 

My dad will be running 2 nvidia GTX 1070 Aero ITX 8gb cards. They’re currently backordered.

I’m gonna be buying myself some cards too soon. My dad has his ordered from frys electronics.

I’m trying to find a good deal on 8gb nvidia cards with OC capability.

Tried looking at your company’s site but couldn’t find anything available

 

Nice. They are hard to find. That's cool frys let's you order them on back order.

I found overclocking didn't help much. It's more about under clocking and under volt as much as possible.

 

If I sold my 1070 now, I'd make 2x+ the amount of money I paid for it.

But I like how the graphics of my games look.

 

What I've been doing is this. Buying low. Selling high. Building up bitcoin. Never chase the dragon if you can't get in on the 1st or 2nd leg. If you notice a crash or correction move bitcoin into fiat. Reinvest back into coin once market levels out and you can take profit at that point.

So these corrections are blessings.

 

Actually looks quite spacious. Looks like you could fit the cards on risers and get 6-8 in there (maybe more with different mounts inside the case) quite easily
