I think it's more like they probably received some items or perks from CORE in the past. I know one time I was on True North and Tim went after me for commenting on how the airflow for a supercharger works when you use an undersized snorkel. When I questioned how he would know he pointed me to someone from CORE, I assume the owner, who was running an undersized snorkel. Funny ending, that truck ended up having issues with the engine shortly after lol. It wouldn't be much of an assumption that if he knew the setup of the intake/snorkel on that truck that he likely was very friendly with the owner. He probably still is.

Well, TrueNorth Tacoma page is basically run by Hayden, Nathan and few others that all support that scheme and possibly all in it, since Nathan probably owes them money too and they don't have much of a choice, but run along like a little puppets...
Just avoid that group in general, since people there don't seem to have any common sense and just a bunch of thief's.

Yeah, the Timothy guy seems to like to attack everyone if they point out he really doesn't know everything. I caught him on something once and he ended up being pretty aggressive. It's too bad about that, there aren't many good transcanada Tacoma focused groups.

It is sad to see that cunts like Hayden, Nathan & Timothy are doing to a truck community in general, but there will be justice one way or another.
Shittiest part here is that there are not many vendors in Canada that sell gear and equipment (4WP and a couple small shops) and things Core is doing here is making it even worse.

Yeah. I'm really hopeful for the new place that just opened up in Cochrane, Alberta. It's run by the guy who used to run Cochrane Toyota's parts department. Very straight and narrow kind of person who delivers when he says he will and takes care of you if something is not right.

Just read through the whole thread. I hope you guys get your money back and some justice as well. This is a good read for anyone anywhere, as these scammers usually have the same playbook. Thanks for sharing.

    Joe,

So nice to see you're still a mature adult.

First of all, there are no kick backs to myself or anyone on True North Tacomas. Furthermore, I'm not sure how to re-iterate this enough, I am not affiliated with CORE. I only met Nate about a year ago, and referred people to him prior to knowing his issues with production. I did not tell you I was 'screwed' out of $1000. What I told you was that I had been almost out $1000 as a middle man for a customer, as I was driving to New Brunswick (where the customer lives). The sliders were not ready prior to my departure. The customer did, eventually, get their product. This did leave a sour taste in my mouth, which makes that the first and last time I sold a product from CORE.

Again, the reason I TOLD you the post was removed. However, since you feel like twisting everything around, I'll put it here. It was removed to prevent Nate from getting completely fed up, and simply shut down prior to reimbursing customers. This seems to be exactly what you have now accomplished, if the Facebook page was taken down. So while we will probably not see anyone else losing any money, providing this is the case; anyone who is still owed outstanding will now have no option but to pursue legal avenues. Maybe taking it down wasn't the best option to avoid being pulled into your conspiracy theory. The thread has since been renewed, which I believe I told you that you were welcome to re-post. Instead, you decided to stomp your feet, take your ball, and go home.

Again, the BC Liberal with the white Tacoma was removed for being arrogant, entitled, and looking down his nose. Not for "arguing about lights".

Reference the undersized snorkel, apparently his is not even plumbed into the intake. So in that instance I was incorrect. You still do not have data to support your "Undersized" snorkel claim though.

I am not sure why this must be re-iterated again. I AM NOT PROMOTING CORE.

Perhaps gents we could just keep to the topic of reviews.

Thanks @Hurricane91 for providing a review from a business stand point.

Perhaps you guys could hash it out over pm. Or even better truck race!!!!

Yes you did say that. But as well Hayden seemed to love to support it. And sure it's going to be hard to get those people their money back but if you don't get him shut down you're just continuing his Ponzi scheme.

Again what part of what you just said doesn't basically make it where you're protecting core from being shut down then?

He should be screwed. Hell legally seems like grounds for jail time. He continually scams people. How long has this been going on for and it's because there's been no threads like this. Considering when I was screwed I got messages from people about having the same about happen to them a year and a half before.

You keep guys like that in your group yet get rid of others for way less? The same shit from vendors on here is quickly met with a permanent ban. Why? Because why continue them fucking over the community. But you seem to have no problem doing nothing and borderline helping Nathan continue how scam.

And you're right. I did leave because I have no interest in continuing in a page that doesn't want to put an end to this scam. Vs Ontario 4wd still haven't removed it because they seem to actually care about the community.

But by all means make sure those that are owed money get reimbursed so that someone new can be owed money. This idea that he can get the money to pay people back by screwing over more is pointless. Do what he did in the past, go work construction or take out a line of credit pay back what you owe and sort your company out after.

You say you're not supporting him but your actions speak much louder.

And not sure why you're referring to me about this snorkel thing. Never mentioned it not heard about it until now. But all good.

If core is now shut down guess the work is done now. And the scamming can stop.

And yet you are hinting on continuing this scamming by keeping his business alive.

There will be losers in this scheme, but closing down and pursuing legal actions against Core Canada and Nathan is better, rather wait for him to come up with something that he is clearly not made for and has no skills.

There are several potential lawsuits and open fraud cases against CORE if you believe the posts on True North Tacoma’s. I guess we will see what comes out of those.

Too be fair it was me who referenced that discussion. I’ll agree to leave that one alone. It was referenced due to the controversy around CORE and the moderators attitudes towards appearing to support his business. You argued fairly lividly in favour of smaller snorkels on boosted trucks and it made me question your relationship with the owner. The past is the past though and I’ll accept that it doesn’t have anything to do with CORE given your description of your dealings with them.

If Nate took it down and decided to close shop, that was his decision, not ours. Let's not forget in this discussion that if CORE is going down or does go down at some point, it was his own doing. We are the people affected and we should be vocal about what it is doing.
When he accepted my money, he already knew he was never going to deliver anything and that's criminal. Everytime someone comes on here that sort of defends him and blames things on production issues, makes me laugh. Core always blames things on production as well
From what I've been reading here, lot of the products purchased aren't production related. He orders from a dealer that we ourselves could do. I ordered an ARB compressor, sliders and roof rack. I have yet to receive a compressor for f#@k sakes. I ordered exact one last week and got in three days. It shows exactly where Core's motives are. No intention of delivering.

My order was treds. He's not even a registered dealer for treds. When he didn't deliver after a month I went to an actual registered one and had them in 3 days.
