Would you mount a light bar where I drew this blue circle?

No hoop plus still being able to mount a hidden light bar with a winch and I'd be sold. Guess I'll keep waiting for someone to pull that off lol

Sos concepts can custom make it the way you like (hoop or no hoop etc). Can also use code Acerwin or Jimboanz and get 10%.

I love mine from SSO. It already had a light bar mount/hoop or no hoop option. I never intend to sell or trade this truck so cutting it wasn't an issue. I did it myself pretty easily following their instructions. And help from a floor jack. I don't think it will interfere with the sensors on the 2018's because it's below the grill.

May hold off for SOS group buy & cut away. Can’t decide. Thinking the Warn would run away bumper finish anyway

I'm very interested in seeing this installed especially with no cutting involved. I like all the descriptions of this product and the limited pictures look really promising but the installation instructions show a picture of what appears to be a cut bumper cover.

@CaliRaisedLed makes a 30" light bar for this location, with mounting hardware. I have one on my truck and it works great.

I'm also considering the Warn Bumper, but would rather not have the hoop.

SpiderTrax, RCI Sliders, Warn bumper, Smittybuilt winch, Ridge Grapplers...
I think there may be cutting. It doesn't say anywhere that there isn't. Cutting or not... For the same features, the warn is over 200 bucks cheaper when you account for the free shipping. They also turn around faster (about 3 weeks vs. 8 weeks).

The quality may not be as top notch as the other brands, but with the brand name comes some assurance of quality.

I think if you are going for the best, you go with SOS or SSO ... But if you are on a budget and or need it quickly, the Warn is worth a look.

I think you could use bar mounts (like for side by sides) to mount LED lights over or under the bar.

Step 27 says "Trim plastic as necessary." It doesn't go into detail as to how much trimming may be necessary, or what plastic.

Man y’all complaining about cutting plastic and I’m about to cut my bedsides off for HC rear. :welder:
Eddies from sos concepts makes without a doubt the cleanest winch slimline bumper for our trucks.
Maybe @JimboAnz has some good pics off it?

I read that step and assumed trimming was on the lower plastic shields underneath because it refers to the "lower support brackets" for the winch. I was just hoping not to have to trim or cut the front bumper. I guess we'll have to see once someone orders and installs this product...
