Got this from a credible dismantler, but they want a core return for another diff so I'm going to try to get one on my own. Preferably I'd like to trade for your non-ADD diff. Also looking to buy a non-ADD diff. Your gear ratio is not important to me, although 4.56 is preferred

Purchase price is $350, pm for further details / negotiate the price - not willing to fire sale this though :)

If you were closer I’d trade you my non add diff, manual hubs and axles.

Thanks brother - all I really need is the tube (parts 8,5,4 and I'll replace the seal) but I'm not sure if you'd want to trade.

I'd include all the vacuum / add actuator stuff since you aren't necessarily gaining anything in the trade and could sell it with the diff to someone that wants all that stuff for a 4x4 conversion.

There's a pretty good tutorial on how these come apart here. I don't think you'd have to mess around with that side gear they had a hard time with - pretty sure that's only on an add diff @BartMaster1234 could verify that for sure - the relevant part starts around 25:00.

I have at least 1 extra non ADD tube/axle assembly.
    What are they worth?

This is the part he's looking for. Manual hub axle tube with intermediate shaft and bearing/oil seal. All comes out as one single unit. It lacks the gear stub and actuator that the ADD one has.

I understand, I have at least 1 if not 2 extra assemblies just like you pictured.
I want to know what they are going for currently

Man where the hell were you when I needed one! Haha. It took me months to find someone willing to sell it separate from the diff.

I paid about $180-ish for it.

Yikes. It would be another $20-170 from that price for another diff that I could reassemble and sell to break even with my current ADD diff.

That's more than just a tube, I can see the intermediate shaft too. That's everything you need right there to convert your ADD diff.

So did your truck come with ADD and you're trying to convert it?

Yeah I dropped the new flexplate and torque converter off today. They're pulling the transmission tomorrow and it should be done Wednesday.

I think my mistake was aligning it with the dowel pins. I used the bellhousing bolts to 'draw' it into the dowel pins and apparently you're not supposed to do that. It must have been terribly misaligned or something which was causing the rubbing on the flexplate.

Eww. Hopefully you didn't do any engine bearing damage. I've read that can be a result of doing that.
