    Hi all
    Careful Moose.

I have friends up your way so I hope everyone is safe.

Not really enough snow to work the blower so went to the end of the street for a few passes.

The controls are backwards (to me) so I kinda fumbled some.. lol

No dripping that I could see from the vent.
Biggest blower I have owned but handles quite well.
    So far I’m keeping it.

What a royal cluster fuck this morning has been. Today was the beginning of me carpooling. The guy I was to meet gave me poor instructions which left me searching in the dark for his house, found it. We took off and picked up another guy and all ws going well until we got to the next town and I realized I'd left my security badge and keys in my car at his house. I had him pull over and drop me off at an Exxon so I could call my wife who was still in bed asleep. About 40 minutes or so after she was able to pick me up. Did I mention it was pouring rain and i was soaked from head to toe. She got me back to my car and I said screw it and went home. What a gloriuous start

Thanks Mike, it appears a non-event from what I can gather...local stations are quiet about it and the Tsunami warning has expired.
    Thanks Jimi.

    Dude  :sorry:

    We are safe. Thanks Chris.

Hey man, I’ve been carpooling since I retired from active duty 8 yrs ago. It’s way worth it ... in 8 yrs we’ve had maybe two or three cases of forgot IDs/keys. Once it happens, you learn to do the “pocket pat” to verify ID and keys before you get into the other vehicle. It becomes routine. Don’t give up on the carpool, the money and vehicle wear and tear it saves is so worthwhile.
    Bad days happen. :fistbump:

Oh yeah. Have no idea the cost of that chrome roll. It's a smaller one about 2' x 24'. The bad one will get loaded onto a flatbed to go out for replating.

I was going on later. Woke up early before alarm anyway. Emailed boss that i would be in around 7:30-8. He texted me back to stand down. Another machine went down last night for a scheduled fabric change, and always maintenance gets down when down. So, sounds like a welder had some embers drop into a cable tray. So he said he will need me later.

Well, there came the text. 1 pm for me today.

So does that mean your day schedule starts at one and go to 10pm or your shutdown time is the same.

Good morning. Another half inch last night not enough to blow and a PITA so have to shovel. Part way done. After more coffee. Plow hasn't come by yet anyhow.

Friend of mine was an electrician where they load iron ore on the ships out of Duluth. Those belts are huge and extra heavy duty and he would give me sections when they went bad or had to replace them. Came in handy for everything from the dog to carry in the truck for traction mats when got stuck in mud. I need a few more and he is retired now told him he needs to go back to work so I can replenish my stash LOL. He told me if he would have known retirement was so damn good he would have retired long ago.

    :hattip: Good Morning Anthony

You have to pick the people you carpool with carefully...similar to deciding which threads to hang out in and which ones to avoid. ;)

:) Just one of a few and we are spread thin right now. And about to start up a fourth machine. Funny thing is when i started there i was very overwhelmed with the enormity of it all. Multiple racks of process servers and thousands of i/o points, not counting all of the com links between systems. But, it's just like eating an elephant.

Yep. Yesterday was pretty much 6:30am to 10pm except the couple of hours i went to the dealership. Think i will attempt a nap.

These are great for beds because of the water drainage and the poly will last forever. It sucks for traction though. Don't walk on it when it's wet or folded onto itself. Instant vertical to horizontal conversion.

    They are tornado proof, though.
