    I also tried car pooling back when I had a 37 mile drive to work. I didn't like it. I like to have control of when I get to work and home.

    The snow we just had was because that "warm" Gulf air made it all the way up here. Ran into the cold arctic air here and dumped the moisture out of it. But we are no longer in the below zero temps because of it :thumbsup:

    Nothing I’m aware of ... from what I can tell, it sounds like the big tsunami scare was mainly Kodiak Island. They probably got rattled pretty good by the 7.9 (refined meaurement) one at 0032L, it was only 182 miles SE of them with nothing but water between them and it. I felt that one pretty good up here in Palmer, so I’m sure it felt like “oh shit” for them.

    Turned out to be a horizontal slip, not a vertical slip. The vertical slip causes tsunamis. They have canceled the warnings.
