Could have made an adapter on the lathe and used the 30 ton shop press lol

 

I'd remove the air suspension right away, cause I don't want to have to deal with that shit and it would need a lift...for reasons. Also mpg can't be much different than my FJ, which is already pretty bad

 

Cause that sounds easier than just buying pre-assembled

 

It'll take more work especially since I have to buy my own material to use. Gov machine shops means all the scrap metal is gov owned and I don't want to mess with that. The equipment is capitol so I can use that stuff.

I got lucky with that. I usually get out of the truck before grabbing my lunch bag and coffee. So at least I didn't dump it on me

It's what I do, and we had discussed it over the weekend. Called saving money.

Remember, the kids are little only for so long and once they begin to grow in no time they are out on their own. As long as the other half has a vehicle large enough to fit everyone for longer trips then the lack of room in the DC can be dealt with.
