    I’ve set back $1,500 for a lift.
Plan on running either 275/70/17s or possibly 285’s if I don’t have to trim a ton.
    I don’t do a ton of off-roading.

I’ve been scrolling the forum for a two years. I still can’t make a damn decision... HELP!
    Sell one on me...

I plan on it when it’s time to order. I’ve read her name enough I dream about hearing her voice. Haha.
I just haven’t called yet. Waiting to find what I really want first I guess so I can just order it.

    This forum is classic.

For the record Marie is awesome.

I think you just answered a few questions on your own if you just read your own statement out loud. “You don’t Offroad much”

Why a lift? Why not a suspension upgrade to carry more weight for when you take your rig camping and shocks that will add greater dampening for those rutty roads you’ll be on. Lifts are pointless and the games changed. It’s not lift it’s how much can you stuff. Nice looking super white too.

n+1, where n is the number of threads now. Same formula works with other questions as well like...How many bikes do I need? How many tool sets do I need?

I actually have to retract some of my statement. Lifts aren’t exactly pointless but the word “lift” just takes on different forms in here. You’ll need some suspension upgrades that will add different geometry to your truck allowing for bigger tires and so on but yea. If you want height it’s in the rubber a lot more then is lead on in here

Save your money. Truck is perfect at stock height IMO maybe just buy some nice used tires from somebody on TW.

I would save money and just do a leveling kit via spacer or Bil 5100. Then wheels with less backspacing and 265 or 275 tires. Should look great without looking to bro-ish.

Save your money. Then when you’ve saved more of it, upgrade your suspension. That improves handling. Tunable, adjustable always nice in case you don’t like the out of box ride or if it doesn’t match your weight distribution. New UCAs can help get castor right for 285s...more savings...more to spend.

I've been toying with this lift idea for awhile too and reading everything and talking to Marie. I'm torn between the 5100's with 888 coils and HS 3 leaf aal or the old man emu kit with 2888 coils, soft ride struts and HS 3 leaf aal. They both are in the same price range so I'm not sure. Any ideas here? I have a off road double cab long bed if that helps any

255s look weird, so don’t do 255s just to say you have “33s”

ratcityrain - I purchased through Amazon, 2 separate vendors. I actually paid $1410 total for mine, sorry about the mis-quote.

looks like Headstrong has them for $1500, I'd probably go with them just to support the community. I purchased around Christmas and was impatient, wanted to get it all installed while on vacation.
