it was just easier to make it. It might be a bit weird, but the mounting points are all pretty easy and straightforward to line up, even with some bends it shouldnt be that hard.

I read a pretty interesting article recently on state economies. Was focused on ID and how its economy is exploding but not in an obnoxious way(yet) like CO. They had investing in other means and moved away from mineral stuff. Suffered through about 20 years and now is one of the places to be. Vs Wyo and MT that did the opposite. MT is in the same boat as WY pretty much.

nice. Well cool man. It all 3/16? Or 1/4?

3/16, with a bit of 1/4 for the frame legs. I know people move to 1/4 because 3/16 bends and what not, but im trying to keep it light so i opted for the thinner metal

:thumbsup::thumbsup: Love it. @mrs.m3bassman next. Then, we just have to look out that they don't gang up on us, hahahaha!

Looks great Mike! I'm jealous of how far out your flares stick out. You might be cleaner than me now. How's rubbing up front?

Oh come on now, he's only got 4.0 BS, and his tires are an inch wider, which effectively (exactly) offsets that, unless he figured a way to run the tire off-center :)

You know those 01-04 flares stick out more - what, probably 3/4"? :luvya:

Your's are still wider :D There is no escaping it! And his wheels are the same width, which means while his tire is wider, the wheel is more inset..by half an inch. So makes up for the half an inch wider tire(net width as is poking out).

So yeah :p i mean yes the 01-04 flares are wider, no denying it. Not sure that would help you THAT much though.

I'm just saying the outside of our tires are in the exact same place. His because they are 1" wider tires (so stick out 1/2") and mine because my wheels are 1/2" further out. So any extra flare he has is covering his tire more. 3/4" I'd say.

He and I will have to get together, park our trucks next to each other, and take a "looking down the middle" shot.

...of course, he did mention a while ago wishing he could completely remove his flares. Crazy dude.

Might as well go fiberglass at that point - I mean, I'd be cutting up the fenders with the Bushwacker's anyway. Plus, don't really like their look.

Will just need to see how the wheels work out, I think that's my biggest question at this point.

That's because our trucks look awesome with no flares. Super clean looking.

Not sure jungle flares would be much wider when what you have now. But might be a touch. No cutting required.

I get what you're saying. Makes sense. I want him to get the brakes done so you two can do a side by side feel test. I want to see how the pedal feel is any different if at all..

Anyone have any good leads on some nice spots? I'd still love to rock the bigger 8.7'' LED cannon by vision X...but god damn. too much money.

Also thought about some ARB intensity knock off lights. Was pretty impressed with those as Timmy had them. But not sure they have the range i want.

Im all for HIDs, would probably go for the Lightforce 240 blitz HID if i do that. But i would turn them on and off a lot. Not really good for their life and all. Plus warm up time. Not a deal breaker though. Those are on my list.
