They don’t like the name but look what they don’t wear! And what’s up with the 50yd field?

It’s only good for 3 weeks, then back to the same thing.

Sounds very familiar to the machines we had at Uniroyal. Polymer spread out on paper baked a little then more polymer topped with fabric, baked to a full cure then the paper peeled off and reused. Machine was a couple hundred yards long and ran continuously.

The Today show showed people evacuating coastal areas. Reputable news source PFFFT! No such thing anymore!

I do the pocket pat every night. Badge, Keys, Phone check! Time to go!

We had chrome rolls in a 3 roll mill, used for pushing bubbles out of the polymer mix. Once in awhile someone would set it up too close and peel the chrome off the roll.

    :D

I use “putting out fires” as the short definition of maintenance.

My dads favorite statement when he was still alive.

When I was out of work I worked out every day but Sat. Then odd jobs around the house. And keep up with TW!

Only felt one earthquake about 15 years ago. Centered down in IL only a 3.0 or 4.0, bird went ape shit in his cage, cat ran in circles and it felt like the house was jumping up down shallow and fast. Made me say WTF?

Well, I think Kodiak did issue an evacuation alert to ground 100 ft above sea level. 1st quake was biggest (7.9 refined - you’ll find reports of 8.2) and only 6 miles deep and 182 miles to their southeast; with nothing but water between them and the quake, evacuation was prudent in my opinion. I also see where Tofino in British Columbia (Canada) evacuated as well; that would be the area 180° from Kodiak’s location on the other side of the quake’s location.

At 8.2 the tsunami potential was there, but it didn’t materialize. I think a lot is still unknown with tsunami prediction ... and the current parameters for issuing an alert are set to err on the side of safety. :notsure:

    Wow
Three tow in's in a row I worked on.
No starts. All three shorted out coil.
What are the odds in that...

I'm glad I moved 38 miles away from the San Andreas Fault , I was no more than a 1/8th mile from it and on the Pacific plate side

Now I'm farther away onto the Continental plate and no fault lines anywhere here in the Mojave desert . if it does rupture I'll have awesome beach front property

    Edit ..

Okay so I'm wrong there has been seismic activity here !!
