Sounds like you need to get out wheeling more! At least if you go through a half gallon of whiskey at sycamore youre "camping" not just getting plastered at home :D

Why would you get a driver's license when you have chauffeur. Make them walk and see how fast they get a license

Well as of today i no longer own a motorcycle or a Tacoma... my truck was at a turning point, put a bunch of $ into maintenance or get something with 4 doors that will fit my needs better.

So I picked up a 2013 Nissan XTerra 4x4! 80k miles and a payment i can make work.

    Sorry @Daria and glws!

Most kids dont want all this stuff because they are babied... in every since... from moms making special dinners because they dont "like" whats being made to parents never making kids work to have things in their elementary days..to them letting things slide like "i didnt open the windows why do i have to help close them before leaving?" etc..... If i wanted something i had to earn it.. I moved out, and paid for College and living on my own... its possible...its an excuse when i hear people saying other wise...(NO i don't have excessive debt... school loan of $6k and am working on my 2nd degree and no other debt other than my house)... I paid for my dirtbikes growing up racing by saving aluminum cans and working for people. I worked on the farm down the street once I was 14 even. I had bought my first car on my own at the age of 15.. it needed body work and a paint job so i did it.. it wasnt perfect but it had ac and was reliable. I learned a lot of skills while working that let me open doors and also allow me to fix anything and never paying someone else to do something for me....

its still funny to me to see how many parents threaten their kids with "if you do that again we are leaving" etc.... and i hear them say it 10x through out the day.... my dad would have loaded me up in the car and took me home before even saying it once. and I knew that was the deal and that he was consistent with it and that I was gonna get the real punishment the second we walked in the door of the house... lots of kids these days the worst punishment or down fall in their life has been their parents telling them to knock it off, and never had discipline worth remembering....

This thread never dissapoints! I really can't stand these kids that have no desire to get a DL and get out on their own, I just don't get it. I was taking my dad's truck when I was 12 and counted down the days until I could get my DL!

It's not the vehicle, it's the folks in them, so Hell yes I'd go with you!

@DukesTaco ... already made it very clear... 1 month free (just finished yesterday), then pay rent, and no babies in this house. In the next day or two, will sit em down and set a deadline for living here period!

I really dig the current one... it is the luggage that comes with her. I know when push comes to shove, she will choose her kids, and I get that. With 2 extra rooms... I can make shit work.

    Haha no doubt man.

We have a friend who’s 27 year old sister just moved in with them due to marriage issues, and she doesn’t have a license. So now, they’re driving her to and from work.
Asked the chick what happened to the marriage (trying to give some honest advice since I’ve been married for a bit), she said “he said that he’s tired of always having to drive me everywhere when he’s not at work. I wish we could work it out, I miss him...”

Looked at her and told her “go get your license, and go home! Your sister doesn’t want to drive you around everywhere either, she’s just too nice to tell ya!”
