The term Service animal has gone to far i have a bichon and he’s very well trained and I don’t take him into stores. I have brought him to a local petco once he ened up getting kennel cough from another dog!!! And he gets kennel cough vaccinations once a year! Plus slippery tile floors equals injuries my boy is 13yrs old too risky! I work pt at a Christmas tree shop and people aways want to bring their pets in some are well behaved and stay in child seat in cart but some dogs don’t fit and are not allowed we had someone bring a lab they claimed was a service dog (no service vest or certificate) but he was jumping and peeing everywhere we kicked them out when they refused to cleanup and stop the dog from jumping on people like come on get a clue.

We see allot of PTSD diagnosed veterans leaving their dogs at home because they still have a concern for the public stigma that they worry will be levied against them having no blatantly obvious physical disabilities. With this going on, and people that are catching on to the abusers putting allot of people with animals in check for whatever reasons they have. And these veterans that we are trying to help are sometimes feeling singled out when this happens and the whole thing spirals down for that person. Many times the legitimate situations can be deflated and moved past by everyone remembering that they are speaking to another human. But we all know that egos and personalities are there and sometimes these encounters are less than ideal.

In this area - and most everywhere I imagine - there are lots of empty nesters looking for a connection to something that relies on them. We get it, but at the same time abusing the system is abusing the system. If you read the complete ADA guidelines, a person with a high school education can sort out these fakes from the genuine article. Here lies the problem, most people who encounter them in situations where they are abusing them are low level service employees who don’t know the guidelines and in retrospect, probably don’t really care. Employee tells the dirtbag that no “pets” are allowed and dirtbag promptly whips out their fake ID cards or diploma and claim ADA protection. Service employee accepts it as legitimate proof and said dirtbag just becomes more empowered in their abuses.

Dont need a firing squad. Just one willing executioner and a 22lr pistol

The ones that complain about the poor prisoners are the same ones that have fake service dogs and fight for a greener earth in a shitbox without a proper exhaust.
Never mind the prisoners....there should be an IQ test to be allowed to exist and breed. Thats solve over population.....and lower the amount of criminals.

I was on a plane one time and this younger lady sat down next to me with her blk lab “service dog”. The dog was very well behaved curled up in the isle seat.

This lady dozes off and everyone starts complaining about her pet being on the plane uncrated and how it smells, they are allergic and my child is scared... total bitch fest!

Well this dog hops up starts to poke this other young lady and cry then a little bark to wake her and sits in front of her in a very serious manner. Crazy story (i read on the dogs jacket after the fact) this dog is trained to sniff out seizures. This lady who boarded with this dog was not her dog she was a trainer delivering the dog to some women in another state BUT this friggin dog sniffed out some random woman’s seizure two seats down before it happened... Crazy shit!

I bet it's a hormone they smell that is emitted before a seizure.
