So I read all this earlier in the day, was thinking how lucky I'd been having never hit one with the roads I drive. Then coming home thirty minutes ago, saw a deer getting squirly on the side of the road. Slowed down, not slow enough apparently, as it jets out in front of me. Only hit the right front. Cursory glance looks like front bumper, pass headlight, and pass quarter panel. Yippee.

Sucks to hear but like I keep telling myself, material items can be fixed or replaced. The worst part is the logistics of getting it fixed when you work overnight. Think I got maybe 3.5 hours of sleep total today...

Before my layoff Jan 1, I used to think how cool it would be to chill at home when I was supposed to be at work. Just chill and camp on the couch and watch some good tv.

Holy fook, there is nothing but trash, infomercials and shopping channels. So much for that.

Tell me if I'm wrong but they sure like to come out in heavy fog or snow. Must give them so sort of sense of false safety. That's when I really watch & slow down.

I need to look into it. Some friends of mine say they get 30 or so channels. Super clear, non compressed signal.

If it wasn't for the wifey liking cable so much, I'd ditch it here, too.

Everything I watch except for the morning news is either Netflix or some other streaming premium channel. That and the occasional DVD.

I wish I lived closer to the city to get the OTA local channels so I could cancel cable. We only have the option of Charter Spectrum in our town and if we cancel tv, internet goes up to 79.99/mo. Our total bill is 103 for all 3 services so we keep the TV for sanity purposes.

We have internet data caps so we can’t switch to streaming. Got the directv bill down to $35 so I can’t complain there

You’ll be amazed at the collateral damage. Mine didn’t make it past the license plate but broke the mounts on the opposite headlight!

Rental agency gave me a 2018 tacoma SR to drive... I had to bring it back this morning because it was so janky with no keyless or intermittent wipers. I had to manually swipe the wipers to and from work. Now in a ‘17 F250 XLT which is much more comfortable.
