Mine has a .22 rifle and recently tried my target .22. I am certain he won't try it again for a while as it was different for him. SO far, he is decent with his .22 tho. He will learn!

I love my 10/22, quite possibly more than my AR  it's such a fun gun to shoot. Don't need ear protection, no kick. Definitely a good learners rifle

I do still see those camper shells around town here on company trucks. Looks like they were upgrading from that older batch that boogy and Jimbo had.
Might be a few more laying around. I'll keep my eyes open.

Actually, while the percussion of the .22 isn't relatively loud or booming, the higher frequency sound does more damage to your ears than the larger calibers. :anonymous:

That's why I ended up with a target pistol. Cheaper to blow thru that ammo than my 9mm

My 10/22 literally sounds like a BB gun haha. I know when I've shot a .22 handgun, it was a lot louder than shooting the rifle. But I'm usually either at the range or around other guns that need ear protection anyways so I normally have them on.

Never shot an AR, I do pistols. I also found I can shoot with either hand/eye with the same accuracy. It really shocks ppl at the range!
