Yellow Coils...should I?

Does anyone know of a company who makes yellow coils. I have the rear tsb on my truck and want to level/lift it just a little. I want to match my OME rear struts (yellow)...was going to go with 5100's (silver) up front set at 0 and eibachs (silver) 1.6 lift springs, or the toytech coil overs...red coils..

My truck is black with OME rear struts.

what would you put up front?

or

Are you making your suspension choice based on color?

 

color and quality....i can't go wrong with the quality of either set up...so i guess yes

care to explain what set up you would suggest (forget about the color)

 

I was under the impression its just a color change, both are made by eibach.

 

Paint em if you want. Dupli-Color has the goods.
I personally wouldn't do yellow, but if your diggin it, do it.

My gut is telling me to go with a FULL OME lift kit..can i put the add a leaf on over the rear tsb pack?

 

Iif you have an access cab, I would get the OME 884 coils and Sport shocks.
If you have a double cab I would get the 885 coils and sport shocks.
OME coils are black, and the dust cover is black on the yellow shocks. You cant really notice the color of the shocks from the side view.

 

You have a good gut! They make an AAL for the TSB. You're set, and won't regret it one bit.

If you stay under 2" you shouldnt need UCA's.
Thats why I reccomend the 884s or 885s depending onif your truck is acc cab or double cab.
If you add these coils without top plate spacers you shouldnt need UCA's.

 

Depends how you approach it. I have an access cab and put on the 884s without the spacer resulting in 2.25" of lift in the front. If I added the spacer or purchased 885s I would have felt better having new UCAs to keep my alignment into spec.

now see i like the look of the red coil overs springs in the pic above.....i'm just not sure how it would look withyellow OME rear struts...

 

I think it should be close to factory rake. i dont have the tsb or aal yet, and My front is about level with the rear. YOu will probably be about 2.5 inches higher in the rear with tsb and AAL. that seems about right. Since you have the TSB AAL, why not do the front and see if it has enough rake for you, if not, you can add the AAL.

 

884s with TSB is how mine is sitting. It's almost level, the rear is roughly 1" higher.

Yeah, the leaf is NIB and in my garage. In case I decide to get 885s I will hang on to it for a little longer.
