Damn FOD control, that gets annoying. Speaking of which, we have an internal audit today

 

Just stopped a few minutes ago here in Easthampton

 

Snow is pretty much gone too (again! )

 

Here I can see the tips of the grass poking through the snow

 

Its still raining up here and some ice is still on the roads. Last night I slid into a curb with my tires and almost hit someone cause I couldn't stop. Fun stuff having to use 4lo on paved streets haha

 

The grass and trees are all frozen in Littleton. Somerville is quite a bit warmer.

I'm actually about to get out of the office a bit early so I don't have to drive home in the freezing rain in the dark.

 

better than I get with my tacoma even during the summer. I’m not getting terrible mileage, but with as much driving I’d do getting over 20 would be great

 

I've got a fairly light foot anyway; with the 4.0 in my Tacoma during the summer (on the stock AT20''s) I got over 20 MPG's on a regular basis, and during the winter with the Duratracs I still was getting 17-18 most of the time.

 

This was around noon.
Funny , 4 troupers in line , flew past me and I was doing 65 thru most of the down pores.

 

57 when I left work a little while ago. Now I'm home waiting for my 4:15 phone interview. Hmm, it's about 4:30.

Speaking of which, I was conducting an internal audit today. FOD was one of the topics too. So was ESD, soldering, shelf life, calibration, etc... I wrote a damn novel with everything I found. Same as yesterday. Tomorrow? Yup, back at it...

We have a company come in and do ours. FOD, cals, engineering paperwork. AS and ISO stuff and procedures

I'm a certified AS9100 rev D auditor. There's 3 of us in the plant. Then we have central quality come in once a year to audit us. Finally, the certification company comes in once a year to review everything. That's a lot of auditing!

 

Sounds it! We just got rev D certified right after Thanksgiving

 

All of you guys with the v6 use 5w30 oil right? Trying to figure out why I have a case of 5w20 from when I bought the parts pile. Also anybody know what brand BL is for rock lights? It's probably no name but they are bright as heck

 

Most dealerships use 5w20 it is cheaper and helps me cafe regulations. So that could be it
