    Received the new bolts for the console safe from Lock'er Down last night. Rather than pull the safe out of the box I repacked it in, and placing it in the console, I thought I'd just try the new bolts. Good idea, as they didn't even thread in more than a couple of turns. How difficult is it to ship all the correct parts, with a metal box that sells for over $300? :mad:

    The mods have probably changed since last update.
    So I recently ordered new Dakar Leafs for the rear of my truck and I received the first package last week a day after it was ordered...I just received a notification today from UPS that a Lost Package investigation was underway for the second set :annoyed:. The leafs are not even in a boxed package and they weigh 65 lbs. How do you lose it? :frusty:

    That's funny, had another guy have one of his leaf springs lost by UPS, and now you. Bet there's a UPS driver out there with a Tacoma with a set of free leaf springs. Call @HeadStrong Off-Road , tell Marie UPS is BS, switch to FedEx, and bet she'll have a new leaf set at your door by Friday.

    I'm in a similar situation with a swinging door from a local supplier. They have sent the wrong door THREE (3) TIMES NOW........My PM today lost it when I called him and told him they sent the wrong door for the 3rd time. :ballchain::censored::violent:

    Stuff like that sits on the very back of the trailer and is loaded last, unloaded first......... its either damaged or stolen unfortunately. Sorry man! :annoyed:

    That is quite possible unfortunately. I worked for UPS in college and 2 years after for a total of 6 years. Saw a slew of theft from the customer side to the internal side over my tenure there. Worst was a guy stealing Dell Laptops which finally caught up to him. Marie will certainly take care of you. :thumbsup:

    Yes she has already shipped me another set of leafs! I let her know it obviously wasn't her fault and she has been great throughout the process. I just had no idea this kind of thing happened that often. Seems kind of baffling but I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

    Anyways, Install is set for Saturday with @Texoma so hopefully they get here before then!

    They come from DFW, so should be at your doorstep Thursday or Friday depending on when the order was placed.

    We use FedEx for work cuz they're more reliable than UPS, guess it depends on whose driving the truck.

    Gave a real quick wash to all 3 vehicles. They were all turning shades of grey... they all need a good wash and wax. Maybe this weekend. But at least all the grime is off.
