    crap bolted and welded together....
    i see the cv dust seal option, are there any other seals that should be purchased from the interwebz/toyota to replace in the process? Basically if i have to go through all the work, Id like to not worry about reusing stock seals if any. TIA

    Once the assembly is off the only seal i recommend replacing is the cv dust seal. It is typically damaged which results in the worn bearing. Other than that clean the spindle, install new dust seal and install assembly - torque axle nut to 173~ foot pounds.

    Are there any in the spindle setup? I plan on purchasing the cv dust seal, But I swore last time I had everything apart theres another in there.

    Once the assembly is out: remove the two 19mm lower ball joint bolts, remove the nut for the sway bar link and swing the spindle out to to slide the cv out of the spindle. On the back side of the spindle you will see the dust seal. That is the only seal as far as the hub assembly goes.

    @nj636 now that aftermarket prerunner flanges are available, will a cheaper 4x2 bearing be made or are you sticking with toyota flange only. I was about to order a set but just looking into feedback on this first. And whats the turn around on 4x2 assemblies now?
