That's actually a lot of up travel compared to what most people get.

My frame height is 26.5" now. I actually like it as it is.

I could lower the rig by taking a leaf out and lowering the ORI's, but I feel I'm going to high center on everything already as it is. We'll see how she behaves in the rocks before I go adjusting anything.

Same here. My leaf springs have settled about 1" and it seems like they will continue settling. If that happens, I might lower the coiovers about 1" to match the rear. I think anywhere between 25"-27" is good for most people on 40"s and bigger.

BTW...I learned too late that TG springs are super tall. I went with their 5" springs, thinking that 5" would be absolutely needed to clear 40"s without having to get crazy long shackles with shorter springs. As it turns out, their 5" springs provide a ridiculous amount of lift. Wish I had gotten their 3" instead. Have to say, however, they are really good leaf springs. Tons of flex and good ride quality on the highway.

I have 6" springs from superlift. lol I had taken a leaf out with my previous setup, but added it back in for a bit more up travel this time around.

Where are you measuring this? I'm about there behind the rear shackle but only about 18" at the drivers door.

I'm a touch lower at the front link mounts, but that was at the rear of the cab. You have a 9" slope to your frame?

Double checked at the back of the cab before the frame starts to turn up and it was about the same. But yeah back of the frame behind the rear shackle hanger is about a 8-9" difference. But also I'm only 35's and LT non SAS

Oh! You're talking about behind the rear shock hanger. I'm talking about the flat frame section under the cab. That's typically what folks are talking about when mentioning frame height.

Yeah but you're still 9-10" taller then me. #rockcrawlingbeast

I like rocks but I also like to go fast in the desert. Basically I want an ultra 4 daily driver that gets 13-15mpgs

I'll be rolling in on the 2nd and staying through whenever I fell like going home, so I should be there till the 10th. I'll be camped with Total Chaos if you're looking for a landmark.

I drove Smokey down to the alignment shop today. I was spot on with my camber and caster right off the bat. We tightened up the steering linkage a bit and set the toe. The right front tire still shakes a bit, but I rollled at 70mph all the way back. I'm going to put my spare on to see if it rolls any smoother.

And I had to get a "finished" shot. :D
