Finally got around to installing the shackle flip I bought off @xweslingx 2 years ago. Gotta get longer shocks. I’m maxed out in the stock location.

 

Relocation? DO IT!

 

I'm thinking 14"s through the bed.

 

Why not 18’s through the bed?

 

Don't think I'd put 18s to use. Not sure this set up can pull that much travel.

YES!!! do it! im gonna be doing chevy 63s with 14s through the bed, ive even thought about doing 16s too lol

 

Why is everyone going through the bed. Why? No point unless you go between the Frame rails and if you do that don’t waste money on 5125s. Go big if your cutting up bed space

 

You could probably do 16” with a hoop without going through the bed. Right?

or 4 link and trailing arms haha, they also have the shocks go through the bed too, if it still exists, haha

 

Me and Paul takes about shock hoops on Sunday. If I had a bender I wouldn’t run. The towers. The hoops you can onboard them more and not have a problem. With how high up the axle I have them mounted on all the swaps I’ve done I bet a 16” shock would fit. But do the chevys really need 16s

 

They probably do not need them, just a little extra travel without maxing them in either direction. But you could say i got 16” travel! Haha

 

Because of clearance issues running them outboard. To run them outside id have to get spacers or less BS wheels. If i do either I run into major rubbing in the front. I don't want to have the rear wider than the front so spacers only on the rear is a no go for me. So, inboard it is. Plus bed space is overrated. 99% of the time my bed is empty.

 

I'll have a 2nd truck with a bigger bed here soon lol...so im not worried about my bed too much

 

Hoops or tucked towers should clear with decent offset. Ive had timbo adjust my towers inward and have enough offset, and still rubs. Rubs only when stuffed, not a huge deal at this point.
