What is the definition of a truck?

Are those tires measured in inches, feet, or yards and will they fit my truck without rubbing?

Ok, so my girlfriend drives a runner, which to me would be stupid to call a "car" The other day I was working on it and my dad called and when he asked what I was doing I said "working on Kiana's truck" It did feel weird, but it would have felt weirder to me to call it a car, and Im not going to say "working on Kiana's suv" I would say "working on Kianas 4runner" but that would be kind of redundant because he knows its a 4runner.

So what do I call it in this situation?

I mean as far as Im concerned hers is just a tacoma with a bigger cab and no bed, it is 4wd, locker, etc.
