Speed wise-split mtn to the tracks to the mountain cross trail is the fastest by far. If you come off split mtn at the curve that wash runs into the tracks. Pole line is a mutha. Last time I did it I made it north but would not have made it south. I had to slide on the radius arms down a 4' straight drop a couple times.

He long travel. Pole line is fun in a LT truck. Just be careful because there might be a drop.

This was closer to the park but once I dropped the front wheels off I landed on the front bumper. Used the rear wheels to push the bumper until the front tires touched. Then used the front to drag the rear bumper off the ledge while the rear tires where hanging. LT was no help. Lol

I thought poleline also had some serious silt too. Being 2WD solo doesn’t help

This was last year. Just be careful. Heaven't been on poleline yet this year. It changes a few times a year.

Could there be any other route?
I'll stop at ocotillo and ask about conditions on the way.

Probably going to come out Saturday morning and stay until Sunday. I'll be taking Split Mountain since its quicker for me and I won't be loaded down.

I ran pole line 2 weeks ago from Ocotillo Wells and it wasn't as bad as it has been. Not sure about the split towards Superstition though but if it's anything like before then it's going to be nice and sandy.

There is the normal spot where you drop down into a steep wash, but unless you're blind, it's easy to get through.
