12v solitons makes a complete plug and play remote start. No need to splice anything. Just an FYI. Put one on girlfriends 2016.

For twice as much. Kb voodoo says its a pretty clean and easy install so im good with that. I like 12 volts the best but price point doesnt sit well with me

True. Took about 10 min to install tho... :goingcrazy:
it is pricey but with how many kits I’ve went through in different vehicles, seen how often they fail and you have to cut them back out.. I’ll spend the extra. :frusty:
Just my opinion tho. They all do the same thing more or less.

    Nice build btw!

Had one when my first gen was stock and failed about 6 months after I got it(truck wouldn’t turn off). Another one I bought later on failed by shorting out my charge circuit. Had another in my Dodge Ram and failed after about 2 years by just not working at all.
Only ones I’ve had last for more then 2 years are complete plug n plays.

But like I said that’s just my experience and opinion. There are a ton of people that haven’t had any issues with them at all.

For the record, we've NEVER had a unit fail.

Even if lets say it did. I could just cut the wires to the unit and connect those to the replacement so not too worried. Looks solid. Ill post some pics when done with install. Excited to be a kb voodoo customer lol :headbang:

You wouldn't even have to cut and splice. Just unplug the old and pop the new one in. And we would send you a new one if there was ever a failure.

Full size spare fits with no issues in stock location. Mounted a matching wheel/tire and added a magnaflow exhauset dumping it just after muffler.

I had a Magnaflow catback on my 2016 and hated it, but it might not be the same exact sound.

Finally locked down a design with Paranoid56 and have him sending me this flush mount custom auxillary fuse plate. Got my Bussman relay/fuse box and beggining the prewiring process as soon as all the parts come in. Plan is to wire it all up so i can simply unplug my devices like LED light bar and switch out without needing to do anything to panel. Will be completely plug and play.

Got my kb voodoo remote start. Should i solder/splice/heat shrink these wires or use taps?

Hey whats up man. I just placed a 285/70/17 under there with zero issues. Perfect fit. Had about 1” between exhaust and tire. Could of left it but i chopped it. That was optional.

@KB Voodoo remote start in. Install time: 1hour. Issues: None. Recommend: Yes

Once I figured out the instructions which ended up being clearly detailed it was easy peasy lemon squeezy

Soldering was a little difficult the wires dont have much room to play but regardless got a solid connection

Shrink wrap to clean it up.
