    In case anyone cares, here is the weight of the TRD Pro Sema Wheel. 24.8 lbs. (box says 27.5 lbs hence the confusion.)

    I know this is a 3rd gen thread but my 2nd gen is in 255/80/17 and I love the look. I went from a 285/70/17 Toyo open country. Feels way better

    Sorry if I missed it, did anyone answer this with the detail about the offset? I have an opportunity to get the 4Runner Pro wheels with 255/80/17's mounted already and want to make sure they fit a stock OR.

    those wheels stick out approx .75 inch more than the original wheels. I have the Bilstein 6112 lift (about 1.5 inches) with stock A-arms. I don't think you would rub the A-arms as tire is skinnier and also shifted away from them. Not sure about the fenders. I have not noticed any rub but have not had a chance to fully cycle the suspension.

    If you pull the trigger, post the results. I’ve asked the same question about this tire/wheel combo, and the general concensus has been that it’ll probably rub on the cab mount and the front plastic. But I don’t think anyone has actually commited to mounting them on a stock 3rd gen.

    The closest I know of is a guy that’s running the 4Runner Pros with 255/80 STMaxx on a stock 3rd gen Pro.

    I guess the only draw back with the tires I picked, they only come in e rated. They are heavy and mpg took a hit compared to my 265/70 k02s. I don't really care about that tho.

    Still hoping somone will be the test dummy on the Toyo Open Country A/T II in 255/80. I loved my STMaxx in that size but at almost 60lbs each they killed my MPG and I definitely noticed the extra weight perfomance wise. At a reported 50lbs the Toyo's seem like a welcome option in this size.

    wow, on the 8.5" wide SCS rim they don't look skinny at all. Makes me want to trade in my 275 K02s for 255s now
