I bought my 2017 TRD OR last August and started experiencing a cluck/knock coming from somewhere behind the dash. The noise is much worse in colder temperatures (below 35 or so) and only over sharp, smaller bumps in the road like cracks and manhole covers (the roads here suck). I've taken the truck into the dealer twice with no luck before removing the graphite dash trim to see if that was the problem. Even with the bezel removed the knock is still present. I've poked around a bit behind the glovebox for a lose wire harness with no luck and am completely stumped. Has anyone else had this issue with a possible fix?

Did you check the Speaker Cover on the Passenger Side? Sometimes it rubs on the A Pillar and makes noise.

    That's pretty bad.

Pull the entire dash out and start taping up everything.

These 2 yellow plugs were loose and annoyed the crap out of me but no where near as loud as yours.

@Jukeboxx13 That's EXACTLY where it sounds like it's coming from after driving around with the dash torn apart. I went the ghetto route and stuffed a few rags by the plugs to see if that'll do the trick.

Just take it to the dealer and let them worry about taking your dash apart. Don’t understand why you would do any of this yourself when you have a warranty.

I get it, dealership visits are inconvenient but your rattle isn’t a normal one and pulling a dash apart yourself on a brand new truck is silly IMO.

    Just my $.02

Yea man just start tapping away, and I noticed the foam tape on the vents are loose to so I made sure to snug them down.

    Lol read the OP.

He already took it to the dealer as did I which is why I pulled my dash and suggested he do the same.[

My dealership likes to hold on to the truck for just about a week at a time without a loaner.

Now that the cold weather is back, the knock I thought I fixed last year is back as well. Anyone have luck figuring out what it could be?

Are you running heat?? It could be the baffle that switches from cold to hot.
