Before you do this, just know a lot of people have had wiring gremlins afterwards (even when changing back to stock. Not covered by warranty) or are unhappy with the beam distance on LED bulbs. Many will suggest halogen :)

Socalmotogear.com h4 GL1500 GoldWing light kit, only LED's I have seen that are high quality, well designed (good cut off doesn't scatter light) cool running fanless bulbs that don't cause problems and are plenty bright without being HID dick bright.

Consider the HIR (Not HID!! Halogen Infrared reflection bulb) upgrade instead of LED though.

HIR only applies to H10 fogs and 921 reverse lights. Otherwise it is good old high wattage.

Edit: unless driving a non-Tacoma that takes 9005/9005 Headlight bulbs.

    Derp! :p

I thought you had an HIR in the headlights, how well do the higher wattage lights work in regards to heat and bubbling or melting the housings and lenses?

We keep meeting in these threads.

Yes, the LED bulb construction does need to be precise in positioning the light source, in the same location as the halogen bulb filament to aim the light correctly into the reflector bowl. Anything outside of that will give poor lighting and glare to other drivers.

stay away from COB (circuit on board) type LEDs; questionable quality & lifespan.
can recommend Cree XHP50 SMD (Surface mount device) modules, as providing the right amount of light, along with a more broadband spectrum (colors) output to make the white light.

Design flaw on the early 2nd gens caused the melting issue for the DRLs, no issue for the headlights. They fixed the DRL issue with the TSB lights. The headlight lenses are just warm to the touch, not hot.

    Stalker.

None. LED headlights still overall suck for the most part, and the stock housings can't handle them anyways.

True, but halogen bulbs provide on omnidirectional light source while LEDs provide a very directional light source. That said, it's virtually impossible to get LED bulbs to preform correctly in a housing designed for halogens.

Back to the OPs question, save your time and money and skip the LEDs - all of them.
