It's less Tacoma and more mod
I found one of the rare few from a manual, such a great car but unfortunately most were automatic and the A650E just isn't my cup of tea. It is paired to the legendary 2JZ and that engine deserves the J160 or W55 manuals to get the real experience. Anyway that means this wheel doesn't have the tiptronic buttons and only has horn, and cruise (which would have worked with mine if I hadn't already ripped it out haha)

Oh that's what those dual "Down" buttons are for aren't they. Someone has a 2JZ swap thread on her using the IS steering wheel.

Correct the sienna wheel, bag and spring are all plug and play to the Tacoma, you will have to add a steering wheel control interface to go with your aftermarket stereo.

And the sienna gray is a little different, but not that noticeable.
I’ll get better pics of it installed today.

Already have a wheel and airbag from a 4runner. But it has a dual pressure airbag.. 2 plugs on it. The tundra 01-04 has the single pressure air bag. Still researching it.

Depending on your head unit it can just require a plug and a few resistrs. Info about it on the web.

The steering wheel controls plug into a harness on the “new” clockspring. It’s 3 wires one goes to switches ign, one to ground and the other is data to the radio.

The overhead console is 3rd gen non sunroof. I took the console and surrounding 12” of headliner from the runner and grafted into mine, I needed to recover my headliner anyways.

Love the lights setup, got any more info on how you did it? Specifically the stock turn signals into running lights + turns.

I did this with fj coils on my truck. I’ll second that there is no drilling. There is also no need for ignorance being that this is a unique mod thread. If it doesn’t interest you, great, but someone who is mechanically inclined might appreciate the input. Notice he said he changed the coil springs, not the strut assembly. We know the strut mounts aren’t the same. Not directed at you Ectrd

Think a Lexus steering wheel of the same era would work? With airbag?

I did look at a steering wheel from an LS400 and I believe the clock spring looked interchangeable. And the airbag was a single contact.

    4 tires, a steering wheel & a seat

Thanks dude , appreciate you're input & yeah contrary to what I've heard it works pretty well , the ride is somewhere between an OME & not quite as stiff as an Eibach & hey I got them for free so no out of pocket expense. Score one for outside the box thinking...

What should I be looking for in a potential steering wheel?

Single plug air bag. The steering wheel is very common around those yesrs.

Yeah, really anything else you can probably repin to your stock clockspring and clockspring plug if you want to keep it. Otherwise a clockspring swap is required to add extra features. Hell the A340 can even use the tip tronic option the IS300 wheel has if you get one of the little controller boxes, strangely enough so could my cruiser not that I'd ever do that.
