60’s Sears Allstate “Luggage” / Off Road Trailer?

How about everyone just let it go and enjoy a build thread and some friendly trailer type banter?

 

How much weight will this thing wind up being able to support?

 

Goona end up as heavy as his last trailer that he sold cuz it was too heavy.

 

They’re 3500 lb springs, but I’m only running the top two leafs from the four leaf pack.

 

And how would you have made it lighter? I mean, I’m using the steel that you suggested.

I’m building it so I CAN. I would if the situation warranted it. I wouldn’t run it down trails at RC just to do it though.

 

I’m sure it will be almost non existent. It’s much less resistance to just pivot at the Pintle.

Yep. Close to the same track width as the truck and probably 7' long box plus hitch.
