Yeah I know about both of those repeater networks and I’ve heard the Morse and voice identifying on 145.145 many times. I just wasn’t sure I had the call sign correct since I’m not really paying attention to it.

We should plan some time to get all the new licenses on the air one evening or something.

Wonder if it would be helpful to put together a list here with radio(s) they have?

Point would be a resource for those looking for new Radio to see what others are using and ask questions if needed.

Don't like dropping call signs on forums. Too easy to find address and such from them. Especially car forums where people troll for stuff to steal.

    PO Box FTW

It's an extra cost annually but it is one means to help keep your physical address away from the less tech savvy.

That's a good way to go. Hehe, I'm guessing yours is at the UPS store, but the way google maps shows it makes it look like the liqour store down the block.

There's an Idea we should build business empire around, PO Box in Liquor store! It would be like printing money and Brandon might bitch at little less!

Haha! Yeah UPS store. I have most of my packages shipped there too, which is nice so they don't get thrown in a field or stolen.... @aero3685 :boink:

I don't know if it happens on TW, but it used to happen all the time on a Suby board I was on. Cars getting flat out stolen, lots of break ins on cars that were featured in build threads because people knew what was in them, etc.

im talking specifically someone using ham radio call to locate someone and then steal either the vehicle or the upgrades. I know of all sorts of stuff that happened on vwvortex and all those other tuner forums but they were never related to ham radio.
