Its cheap, some fitment issues. I had to notched out my ac line even though its a 2007. Plus no instructions, and i retained my factory skid plate.

If you have the funds to give it a go let us know details. Keep your existing stuff if it doesn't work out. Often you get what you pay for. Exceptions are possible. Bumpers can be a factor in a bad wreck. Best of luck.

I'm laughing because the guy who created the thread actually works for the company and this was all some low key advertisement, and turned into a huge shit show when we found out.

I mistyped and said "if". This actually happened, and is quite an entertaining read if you're brave enough. If not, I made cliff notes on the front page.

Figuring out how to fit hitch in rear bumper, some cutting and welding is involved.

The all pro hitch bolts right in

My plan is to weld a 2x2 piece of steel between frame plates then weld the receiver on top of it...few hours of work

You might be able to just cut the stock hitch and weld it upside down between the Bumper lol

I also just ordered, I dealt primarily with Herb but also spoke to Mike once (I think). They will offer you a discount if you buy outside of ebay to save on the ebay fees, I also bought front and rear and lights for the front bumper from them.

For what it's worth, they told me when I ordered last week that they were out of stock on the fronts but that they should have some more in shortly, the rears were in stock.

FWIW (this could already be posted elsewhere and I'm not really interested in re-hashing this or that): I called the toll free number in the ad, when they emailed me though it came from "info@off-roadworks.com". I believe this is the KO Offroad company, Herb told me that the owner of their company is close friends with the owner at DV8 and they are a distributor of their products.

DV8 is showing a second design of this bumper on their website (I only find the tacoma products by searching, they don't seem to be listed in a menu anywhere): https://dv8offroad.com/search?q=tacoma Herb said he could check and see if the new style was available but I wasn't particularly interested in it given there doesn't seem to be any access to the winch.

It doesn't actually appear to be available at this point anyway.

No access to the winch is a major problem to me
