TRD Pro Grille for $140?

Was it in two pieces? how long did it take for you to get it?

 

Letters were wrapped individually. Had to attach w stick on tape.

All the letters have ridges around them... That base on the letters needs painted because unfortunately the whole letter and base are silver as opposed to silver and black like the rest. It's not nearly as big of deal to fix as some have made out. Even without painting them, once installed you have to really look for it.

 

I painted mine. Not a big deal at all. Then at least I know that all my letters matched.

 

I didn't paint shit. I slapped mine on lol. But idk if mine are even wrong.

 

Got my Grill today from AREYOUSHOP on Amazon looks Grate fit is good don't trust the double tape so going to use some epoxy on the back side as a just incase

 

How long did it take you to get it? i ordered mine on the 13th and still hasnt arrived.

 

Just ordered from them as well from eBay. Says should arrive in about a week.

 

Just ordered mine today (Jan 24) from grill-pro on eBay and says it will be here Feb 1st. Fingers crossed for a positive experience.

Seriously. These posters whining about a 2 piece grille are carrying on like you can tell a difference between that knock off grille and the other knock off grille after 2 seconds of prep work. I'm not even sure they can put a grille in if their effort threshold is that low.

 

I wonder if Toyota stopped them from sending grills with one peice letters! Maybe a copyright issue!

 

Exactly. Me neither. They are off and you can tell, but it's only if you get real close and are in the right light. And give enough of a shit.

I get what you're saying. Once I got mine I found that it was an easy fix. It's just the outline isn't black on the first and last letters, which makes them appear bigger than the others. Happy enough with it for sure.

 

@17tacomaoffroadatx I probably have the record for waiting the longest to receive a Grill. I ordered 12/3 from recamera, it got held up in Customs and after contacting them they offered a refund. I told them I'll give it a week but finally gave up and requested a refund yesterday. Well to my surprise it arrived today. I received a two piece grill, looks good all clips are intact.

 

Ordering one now. Will let you know when it arrives. I hope it does not arrive with broken clips. Dealer told me all of these grills are on the east coast. Grill will be shipped to WA and then to me. Wish me luck, should be at the very least a week and a half.

 

@nicochap10 - Yes, it is in two pieces. Got the first part "Toyota" within like two days, the rest of the grille is still in transit, but should be here today or tomorrow.

@CherokeeCajun - I clicked a link in the ebay listing that said something like "Click here to save more" and it gave me the coupon code.

I'll let you guys know when the rest of the grill arrives. I can say that the first piece is top quality!

 

i ordered mine from him on December 1st, he refunded my money a couple weeks ago and the tracking still shows its in china, he ask me when i received it to please send it back. I went ahead and ordered one from Amazon and with my luck the same thing is happening. stuck in china. i think the tacoma gods dont want me to have this grill lol.
