I'll think on that. However, if I do use it then yours wouldn't be as unique.
Then again, maybe we could make it a Maryland Taco thing?

I'll have to look in to those pro comps. I considered duratracs as well. I definitely don't need an aggressive AT though.

I'm my experience with seats, it's tough with new cars. You'll end up with dash lights on and safety features not working. Probably not worth the effort on a Tacoma.

Well, I have run Pro Comps in the past. The Extreme AT. They wore like iron and were not loading with snow up like the BFGs I had before them. Great in the snow and rain. I do drive spirited. I had them on a Dodge 2500 too and towed with them. I liked them. The AT Sport is a newer model. It has a higher mileage warranty and it is a non pro rated warranty too. Plus they have a try it for 90 day deal. That's crazy and I'm not sure how that works if you swap and then change your mind. Do they keep your old tires for 90 days?!?!?!? What I like about them is that the 265/70r17s have a good half inch of tread depth and my favorite, a lot of sipes.

Now, I have had 3 trucks, and a 4Runner, besides the Taco. On those vehicles I have run a lot of different tires. Basically, it's the first thing I change from OEM on every one of them. The 4Runner has had the best weight distribution front to back obviously. Unless I put that traction device in the bed of the truck, and so far with the Taco I haven't.

With the 4Runner I went with a C range Duratrac in the OEM size. Man I loved that tire. For the first 30k miles. After that it got loud! It wore out really weird too. I had a non-tire related video one time and the guy I let watch it asked what was wrong with my tires. He said it sounded like they were delaminating. But before the 30k mark, they were unstoppable in the snow and the rain. After 30k I couldn't trust them at all.

I would give them another try though. Maybe I just got some from a bad batch.

I think the new bread of Hybrid tires are worth looking at for any purpose except mud. I am just considering something else because I would like to get more MPGs. Although, the Ridge Grapplers I have now have 8k miles and look brand new so it could be a while. And, LOL, again to day on the way to work, in the sweet spot at 2k rpm, and like 72 mph, I pulled 17.2 mpg. So I guess I shouldn't complain. Especially since it gets me up the driveway with snow on it at home.

My Toyo atII are wearing really well considering how much highway I drive. Mild all terrain tire. that's done well in rain snow and mud when asked to.

285/70/17s. Get about 18mpg with the load C. They have about 45k on them and going strong. I think they're rated for 60k miles.

Anyone interested in a kbvodoo bed rack? Been thinking about selling mine because I don't use it as much as i thought I would. It's for a 2nd gen short bed, tall version.

So I did this on my 2016 4Runner. Not sure if the Tacoma has this restrictor or not but maybe one of you guys can give it a shot. I was seeing a bunch of people post stuff about a restrictor in the stock air box which was noticed when replacing with an aftermarket intake. I've been there and just don't see the value in them for what you get in return. I figured there had to be a way to remove the restrictor so I messed around with it tonight after work. Removed the lower air box, removed the water shield from the intake box, tapped the restrictor from the inside once with a hammer, fell right out. May have improved midrange power and it has a subtle throaty sound to it now. Not the sound of an aftermarket intake by any means but I do hear a difference. Only other mod is an AFE Pro Dry drop in filter. 10 minutes and free, works for me!
