I'm looking to buy a set of Chrome 17" Moto Metal 951 for my 2005 tacoma. It's going to have a 3" toytec lift. So far the cheapest and best place I found was on ebay. Tires doesn't matter as I'm planning to drive it around town only.

Chrome set of Moto Metal 951:

$690 for a set without tires
$1650 for everything shipped to my door.

Is that a good price or can I get it somewhere for cheaper? If so where?

Also I'm assuming these specs are correct.

    Wheels:

    17 x 9
    -12 offset
    4.5 backspacing

    Tires:

    285/70/17

    Thanks!

    www.rimzoneonline.com for your rims

Thats where I bought my tires and rims and I searched and searched.
At the time, these two places were the cheapest.

edit: looks like the rims are $560 shipped at rimzoneonline....

$560 is for a set of "black moto metal 951". Anyway I added the chrome set and it was more than $690. $760 to be exact.

Go to American or Discount tire company. Whatever you have where you live. They will beat any price you find. I know the Moto Metal 951's in black from them are 104 each

The moto metal black are cheap almost anywhere you look or shop. It's the chrome that I'm after. Even though the black rims look great it's not my cup of tea. I'll check out american, and as far as discount tire I've already check it's still cheaper on Ebay.

On Ebay if the wheels are used then american can't beat it. But if they are new show it to american and they will beat the price. "Thats what they are known for doing" - the american tire guy i talked to on the phone

Ok, I went to the American tire site, and they don't even carry Moto Metals.
    http://www.americastire.com/dtcs/initWheelBrands.do

Ok, at the bottom it says click here for more brands, where Moto Metal is indeed listed. Then tells you to visit the closest store...right, the 'closest' store is about, oh 800 miles away! Guess I'll keep googling...best price I've found is around $126 each for black, which is what I'm looking for.

Black is always cheap compare to chrome. Anyways, for all the folks that help me in my quest to find these wheels I thank you. I've already picked up a used set from a member on another forum.

The tires are 265/70/17 and for some reason I'm getting loud rubs when turning. Hopefully when my 3" lift goes on, I'm hoping the rubbing noise goes away.
