    I have 18s with 275s which are 33.4x11.5, had 17s with 265s and before that I had 16s with 265s.

    18s are completely different with tires. They measure 11.5 wide and 33.4 tall

    Not every tire manufacture goes by the same specs. Some 285s are 33s and some are 32.8. Same with width

    So a bfg 285/70r17 is 32.8 but a cooper 285/70r17 is 33 and it has to due with aspect ratio that are both 70% of the tires height.

    A 285/70r17 is suppose to be a 32.71x11.22r17 but the manufacturing process of some brands arent exact which leads a 285/70r17 to be roughly a ~32.71x11.22


    But I highly doubt a cooper is a true 33 they usually run small and wide or atleast the two sets in my house have

    Oh no i understand that i meant actually mounted mine were smaller than those numbers. For example my last set was suppose to be a 30x9.50r15 and cooper said they would be a 29.29 but when mounted they were like 28.5
