    O.K., all of the radios have been promised.

    Just so there is no confusion: these are Ham radios that work the 2 meter, 440 band and other freqs outside of the ham bands above and below (like the FRS/GMRS freqs). These are NOT CB radios. I should have made this clear in my original message but I assumed everyone knows this.

    I've got a Yaesu HH I'd like to mess around with some simplex, so it will be cool to have a couple other hams at the meet to do some experimenting maybe. I got my CB working for the trail rides tho. Until a tree takes out my antenna again.

    I just pulled my 2m out of the truck. Didn't want the antenna to get banged around but I can put it back in right quick. I also always have an HT with me (Yaesu 60r) so I can always run that. I don't run 440 in the truck, there's just no activity around the Jax area on those freqs. I have a dual bander, but it is used at my base station periodically.

    Anyone else have a 2m mobile Ham rig in the truck?

    No I haven't gotten to that step. Don't put your antenna back on if your worried about it. I've got a FT 60 as well. Still need to learn more about it.

    Toyota was supposed to change my driveshaft assembly this week. They ordered the part Saturday and said they would be in by today, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Im hoping that shit doesn't blow on the trip...

    Haha, that's probably a wise move considering currently they are calling for a 100% chance of rain all day Sunday. Friday and Saturday look prefect though. :thumbsup:

    Modded it so much it turned into a 4Runner
    Not suppose to rain until later in the day in Sunday. It's not a frontal system, just an air mass with a higher humidity that'll make stuff wet once it warms up.
