    Maybe it's in my head - but I feel like these fab shops are dismissive towards me when I call. idk if it's because I'm a female and they don't take me seriously? idk. I've called a couple different places and always felt like I was annoying them by calling. (also - it could be because I'm sensi) lol

    Fabricators aren't customer service professionals... I wouldn't say it's because you're a woman, but because they have enough work going on as it is so they don't need to take on custom projects.

    One way around that... call them up about ordering something they do have... like a front bumper... and then bring up the possibility of them making a rear bumper to add to the order. That way they for sure have your business and don't have to worry about quotes back and fourth when they've got surefire paid work to do already.

    That's what I'm tryna tell her... she's got sliders and a few skids.... we mainly need to get her some tires, a couple more skids, and preferably a winch.

    But... EAF points count for something too, so I know the feeling of wanting full bumpers like yesterday

    I think it also stems from them having to stop whatever they are doing to answer a phone.

    Hahahah I can tell you, if I had the cash to get a rear bumper, it would be ordered yesterday for sure. But I need to actually be able to use 4x4 so regear the front is more important. If I hadn't gotten that rear end, I would have a rear bumper by now...

    Yeah, I seem to remember somebody winning a free rear bumper from CBI... :boink:

    I think your priorities are in the right place though. Get that locked 4.56 front end hooked up above all else and you can then bust a @SuperBad on the trails so you force yourself to order a new rear bumper :cool:

    It was a free front bumper that I could use towards a rear bumper but I would have to pay the difference... that I didn't want to do at the moment... but maybe I should have... ohhhhh well!

    But yes... kinda want to keep my stock rear in perfect condition so I can resell it.

    I still have my stock bumper, but it's coated in derp. I don't like the chrome.

    I should try to sell that again now that I live near people that drive tacomas instead of tractors.

    I'm hoping to buy tires in the next week or so (since my wheels will arrive shortly - now I'll be more motivated to pull the trigger)

    Last year I messed up my stock rear bumper at Jambo - so I'm hoping to avoid that by having bumpers put on before Jambo this year! We will see what happens...if nothing else I'll get a front bumper and a winch and just take it a little easier this year (i.e. drink less) :p
