I see you went with spare in the bed. I really don't want to have to do that, but I also really don't want to get a swingout...

Well do you have a better way to collect mud samples in a pain in the ass hard to reach spot?? I'll measure it up tomorrow but yes it does hang pretty low. Think its only an inch or two lower than stock. This is mainly my daily/work truck so I needed an easier way of getting in and out of the bed on a daily basis.

Maybe it's the angle of the picture that makes it look much lower.
And why are we collecting mud samples?

Lol the bumper is hollow and they didnt bother to add some metal to stop it from collecting mud and debris, will post a picture tomorrow.

Thats a nice design. Beefy as hell but still fairly stock looking. As mentioned it looks like a bit of overhang but overall its tight. Has tow hitch in it as option? Doesnt look like yours has one in the shot of the you guys going through water.

There is a bracket up underneath of the bumper out of harm's way for when you are off road that the trailer receptacle will clip into

Just let it hang when you're towing then? I'm just curious

No, it works just like factory. But you plug it in under the bumper instead of next to the license plate.

Is anyone making dual swing out high clearance bumpers yet? That’s the ticket right there!

Pain in the ass to keep it clean when mud flaps are off, so much debris and mud get back there. Bumper is 2.5 inches below quarter panel.

Yeah, it's crazy how packed in it can get. Instead of powder coating, it'd be handy to have that side Teflon coated

C4's rear bumper accommodates the BSM.
RCIs does too, but the sensor hangs lower than the bumper at the corner.
